Descripción técnica

Froxlor is a server administration panel. In versions 2.3.10 and earlier, the customer data-export (DataDump) cron fails to validate intermediate path components of the export destination: Froxlor\FileDir::makeCorrectDir() contains an off-by-one in its path-component walk that skips the first segment below the customer home directory, and the guard in ExportCron.php checks only the final component with is_link(). An authenticated customer whose account has the export feature enabled can schedule an export into a genuine subdirectory of their own webspace, then replace an intermediate path component with a symlink before the root-owned cron runs. The cron's `chown -R` then recursively changes ownership of the linked directory tree — for example /etc — to the customer's UID, yielding host root and cross-tenant compromise. Exploitation is deterministic and requires no race. This is an incomplete fix of GHSA-75h4-... The issue is fixed in Froxlor 2.3.12.

——2Fallow is a codebase intelligence tool for TypeScript and JavaScript. From 2.68.0 until 3.34.0, Fallow follows attacker-controlled Jest projects paths outside the project root through absolute paths, parent segments, dot-prefixed wildcard globs, or symlinks. In version 3.33.1, the same behavior also affects Vitest test.projects paths, Vitest inline-project extends paths, and symlinked script --config paths. Fallow parses the outside files as test-runner configuration and uses them to credit dependencies, setup files, and JSX import sources, which can change unused dependency and unused file findings in CI or agent analysis. The outside file contents are not printed or sent over the network. This issue is fixed in version 3.34.0.2d

——6Incus before 6.0.7, 6.1.0 before 7.0.2, and 7.1.0 before 7.5.0 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability in sftpRecursivePullFile that allows a malicious incus-agent to escape the target directory during incus file pull -r. Attackers with root in a virtual machine can return duplicate entries reported first as symlinks then as files or directories, writing attacker-controlled files such as /etc/shadow on the operator's host.2d

——10Incus before 6.0.7, 6.1.0 before 7.0.2, and 7.1.0 before 7.5.0 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability that allows malicious migration sources to write host files by planting symlinks in transferred volumes. Attackers can craft rsync or btrfs receive streams with a symlink such as rootfs pointing to the host root, writing files as root for full host compromise.2d

——15JetBackup plugin for WordPress before 3.1.24.10 contains a symlink-based arbitrary file write vulnerability that allows an authenticated WordPress administrator to write attacker-controlled file contents outside the intended restore destination during backup import and restore. Attackers can craft a backup archive containing a symbolic link that archive extraction follows without validating targets or enforcing destination containment, potentially leading to server-side code execution depending on the writable destination and server configuration.2d

——9Goploy 1.18.0 before 1.18.1 contains a link following vulnerability in the /deploy/fileDiff and /deploy/fileCompare endpoints that allows authenticated members to read arbitrary files. Attackers with repository write access can commit a symlink pointing outside the project directory to read database configuration and deployment SSH private keys.3d
