Descripción técnica

Cpanel::JSON::XS versions from 4.42 before 4.80 for Perl let input chunking change the decoded value of top-level numbers in incr_parse. allow_nonref is enabled by default and incr_parse inherits it. A top-level number, true, false or null has no closing delimiter, so the incremental parser decodes whatever has arrived. The bytes 12 decode as one value when read together, but as 1 and then 2 when split across two reads. A peer that can influence read boundaries can change how many messages a stream consumer decodes and what values they carry.

——0fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions from 2.4.2 through 2.4.7, from 3.1.3 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.1 through 4.2.2, for HTTP-family schemes the canonicalizeHost() function passes the parsed host to the WHATWG URL parser and adopts its hostname without checking that the parser consumed the entire input as a host, so the authority can be silently rewritten: data before an at-sign is dropped and tab, carriage-return, and line-feed characters are stripped, with no error reported. An application that enforces host-based policy such as denylists, loopback filtering, redirect validation, or outbound proxy routing on one representation can then see the canonical host diverge from what it checked, allowing traffic to be steered to an unintended destination. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, reject an authority that contains more than one at-sign or any tab, carriage-return, or line-feed before calling fast-uri, or treat any non-empty parse error as fatal and compare hosts only from the same parse result.6h

——12kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. From 0.144.0 until 0.147.0, openapi3filter.ValidationHandler validates an operation selected from decoded URL.Path while a downstream gorilla/mux router configured with UseEncodedPath can dispatch a different operation selected from URL.RawPath. When a public exact route and a protected parameterized route use the same method and overlap after decoding, an unauthenticated remote request containing an encoded path separator can be validated as public and then dispatched to the protected handler without invoking the configured AuthenticationFunc. The reachable path parameter is constrained to an encoded representation that decodes to the public literal route, and proxies that canonicalize the URI before forwarding prevent this specific mismatch. This issue is fixed in version 0.147.0.5d

——3Description NGINX JavaScript (njs) has a vulnerability where the njs XML module exposes entity-backed XML attributes inconsistently with libxml2 canonicalization. In both the built-in njs and QuickJS backends during the canonicalization process, the $attr$Name getter may return undefined for an explicitly present attribute containing an internal entity reference. The $attrs getter may return a value derived only from the first attribute child. This may allow an unauthenticated attacker that invests significant effort in obtaining a genuinely signed document to skip validation while signature verification succeeds. An nginx-saml deployment is a confirmed affected consumer when run with the built-in njs backend. Impact In affected signed-XML consumers, an unauthenticated attacker can cause security-relevant attributes to appear absent or truncated while signature verification succeeds. In nginx-saml, this can bypass expiry, Destination, and request-correlation checks, enabling replay or acceptance of a response outside its intended context. It does not permit signature or identity forgery, or a direct availability impact. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only.  Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.5d

——12Roo Code through 3.54.0 contains a command approval bypass vulnerability in parseCommandLine() that allows attackers to auto-approve arbitrary shell commands by placing a command substitution in command position. Attackers using indirect prompt injection can submit commands like $(echo touch /tmp/x) that pass the echo allowlist check, causing the shell to execute the output without user approval.4d

——13Roo Code through 3.54.0 contains a command approval bypass vulnerability that allows attackers to run denied shell commands because parseCommandLine() treats ${ command; } substitutions as parameter expansions. Attackers using indirect prompt injection can embed denied commands inside an allowlisted command like echo to execute them without user approval on bash 5.3+ or ksh93.5d

——12Roo Code through 3.54.0 contains a command approval bypass vulnerability that allows attackers to auto-approve denied shell commands by abusing quote-masking regex in parseCommandLine(). Attackers can use indirect prompt injection with escaped or single-quoted double quotes to hide command separators behind allowlisted prefixes like echo, executing commands without user approval.5d
