Descripción técnica

Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation. From 8.0.0 until 8.6.19, 9.1.21, 10.6.2, and 11.0.0-alpha.6, the Storybook development server can expose its WebSocket authentication token to clients able to load its HTML pages over a local network. A LAN attacker can obtain the token and invoke WebSocket-backed file-writing or testing functionality. Weak story-write validation can allow code to be placed in story files. If the Storybook Vitest addon is installed with an old version of Vitest, the payload can use a Vitest API to write additional files or execute commands. Depending on the payload and local tooling, the attack can lead to code execution with the developer's privileges. This issue is fixed in 8.6.19, 9.1.21, 10.6.2, and 11.0.0-alpha.6.

CVE-2026-927098.1 ALT
—
———Rsyslog is a rocket-fast system for log processing. From versions 1.15.0 to 8.2610.0, rsyslog's omfile dynaFile facility intentionally allows templates to generate flexible output paths. This supports valid deployments that route logs into different directories or use dynamically generated file names. A deployment becomes unsafe when a dynaFile template uses a value influenced by untrusted input as a path component without explicit secure-path handling. In that configuration, the rendered path can escape the operator's intended log directory. This is not limited to the RFC5424 HOSTNAME field. Any untrusted value that reaches a dynaFile path component can create the condition. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.3h

———A weakness has been identified in subhajitkhan online-clinic-management-system up to e9ee77a8827a1446220fa07ee693dc4d9a29a578. This affects an unknown part of the file patdocmsg.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument Query can lead to cross site scripting. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.2h
CVE-2026-1152075.5 MED
—
———A flaw was found in GNU patch. An attacker can achieve arbitrary file creation outside the intended working directory by enticing a user or automated workflow to apply a specially crafted patch file. Due to missing validation during automatic patch reversal, absolute file paths in patch headers are accepted rather than rejected. Consequently, the utility can create files in arbitrary locations with the permissions of the executing user.2h

———YouDataSum CPAS Audit Management System V4 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by manipulating the fileId parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /cpasm4/plugInManController/downPlugs with ../ sequences in fileId to retrieve system files like /etc/passwd. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-01-13.6h
CVE-2022-510256.5 MED
—
———Penta Security WAPPLES 4.0.54.1, 5.0, and 6.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to download arbitrary files via the name parameter of /webapi/file/transfer. Attackers can send GET requests with type=db_backup and ../ sequences in name to read files like /etc/passwd, and a hardcoded systemi account makes authentication effectively trivial. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-19.6h
CVE-2022-510247.5 ALT

———Kavita 0.5.2 before 0.5.4.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying '../' sequences in the filename parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /api/image/cover-upload with filename values like ../appsettings.json to retrieve configuration files outside the temp directory. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-18.6h
