Blender before 4.5.15 and 5.x before 5.2.3 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in blo_bhead_id_* accessors in readfile.cc that read ID fields without block length checks. Attackers can supply a crafted .blend file with short ID blocks that, when browsed or appended from, causes heap over-reads leading to crashes or heap memory disclosure.

CVE-2026-1192995.9 MED—
———gopacket provides packet processing capabilities for Go. Prior to 1.7.2, the SCTP chunk chain in layers/sctp.go passes attacker-controlled declared lengths and counts to decodeSCTPInit, decodeSCTPShutdown, decodeSCTPError, decodeSCTPSack, and decodeSCTPParameter without checking that each chunk contains the fixed fields, parameter TLVs, gap acknowledgements, or duplicate TSNs those sub-decoders read. A crafted SCTP segment can therefore cause out-of-bounds or inverted slice panics; the panic can terminate applications that use gopacket.DecodeOptions.SkipDecodeRecovery, direct registered decoders, or DecodingLayerParser with IgnorePanic enabled, while the default recovery-enabled APIs convert it to a per-packet decode error. This is the SCTP sub-decoder residual named but not remediated by CVE-2026-65819, whose version 1.7.1 changes bounded the generic dispatcher but left these per-type reads and loops unchecked. The impact is availability only, with no data disclosure, modification, or allocation amplification. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.3hCVE-2026-1197227.8 ALT—
———Blender before 4.5.15 and 5.x before 5.2.3 contains a heap out-of-bounds access vulnerability in read_struct() that skips size validation when a .blend file's SDNA struct layout compares equal. Attackers can supply a crafted .blend file with short blocks so field reads, writes, and pointer dereferences overrun heap memory, causing crashes or code execution.4hCVE-2026-1197205.5 MED—
———Blender before 4.5.15 and 5.x before 5.2.3 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in read_file_dna() that reads a GLOB block field without validating its declared length. Attackers can supply a crafted .blend file with a truncated GLOB block that, when opened, triggers the out-of-bounds read and crashes Blender.4hCVE-2026-1040636.1 MED—
———Scribus before 1.6.7 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Mac PICT image loader and import plugin when decoding planar pixel data. Attackers can supply a crafted PICT file with manipulated dimensions that, when placed or imported, causes heap over-reads leading to crashes or heap memory disclosure.4hCVE-2026-61627——
———libass is a portable subtitle renderer for the `ASS`/SSA (Advanced Substation Alpha/Substation Alpha) subtitle format. Prior to 0.17.5, libass can overread and overwrite the glyph array in `wrap_lines_measure` while rendering malicious `ASS` content. In `wrap modes other than two`, a final line ending with a literal backslash-n sequence and otherwise consisting only of such sequences or spaces can remain after early trimming and make the line-measurement loops overshoot by one glyph. When the total text size exactly matches the allocated glyph-array capacity, the first loop reads an uninitialized 32-bit fixed-point `pos.x` value, although that value is not subsequently used. The second loop writes `pos.x` and `pos.y` beyond the array, zeroing the first and adding an attacker-controllable offset to the second. No actual exploitation beyond possible denial of service is known; broader exploitation is theoretical and constrained by the addresses, limited writes, and ASLR. This issue is fixed in version 0.17.5.4hCVE-2026-1154563.7 BAJ—
——0A flaw was found in gcc. An attacker could cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by passing a string that is not null-terminated to the std::from_chars() function in the libstdc++ library. This issue triggers an out-of-bounds read beyond the allocated buffer, potentially leading to invalid data parsing or an application crash.4h
