Descripción técnica

An unauthenticated client may access certain protected resources when using EthereumAuthenticator if the request path contains the configured login path. This is caused by the authenticator using an unanchored substring match when identifying the login page. If the login path appears later within a protected request path, the request may be treated as the login page and its authentication or role requirement replaced with ALLOWED. Exploitation requires the protected resource path to contain the configured login path as a later segment. Explicitly FORBIDDEN routes are not affected.

CVE-2026-110724—
—
———In `api-gateway` versions till `1.7.3`, The default rate-limit key resolver, `ClientIpKeyResolver`, derives the per-client bucket key from the leftmost element of the `X-Forwarded-For` request header. That element is supplied by the originating HTTP client and is not validated against any trusted-proxy list. A single attacker can therefore obtain an unlimited number of independent rate-limit buckets — one per unique header value — and completely bypass the gateway's request-rate limiting on every route that uses the shipped default configuration.5h

———In Eclipse Jetty, across various versions of `jetty-security`, and `jetty-eeN-security`, two or more security constraints with the same http-method-omission set, and no url-patterns, are not combined properly per Jakarta Servlet Spec. Resulting in later http-method-omission sets overriding previous constraints with the same http-method-omission set.6h
CVE-2026-18659—
—
———In Eclipse Jetty, across various versions of `jetty-security`, and `jetty-eeN-security`, and `jetty-eeN-servlet`, the Jakarta Spec constraints defined as `http-method-omission` can be bypassed by using substrings of the defined HTTP Methods.6h
CVE-2026-18661—
—
———In Eclipse Jetty, across various versions of `jetty-annotations`, and `jetty-eeN-annotations`, the Jakarta Spec authoritative url-pattern rules for mixed `@ServletSecurity` annotation, and `web.xml` defined `security-constraint` on the same `url-pattern` were not being applied if the `web.xml` had more than 1 `url-pattern` for a servlet, and had a `security-constraint` applying to only some of those `url-pattern` definitions.8h
CVE-2024-220318.5 ALT
—
———A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher where a user with the ability to create a project, on a certain cluster, can create a project with the same name as an existing project in a different cluster. This results in the user gaining access to the other project in the different cluster, resulting in a privilege escalation. This happens because the namespace used on the local cluster to store related resources (PRTBs and secrets) is the name of the project.9h
