——0rclone versions 1.56.0 through 1.75.0 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the `rclone serve docker` volume plugin. newVolume() in cmd/serve/docker/volume.go computes a volume's mountpoint as filepath.Join(drv.root, name) from the attacker-supplied `name` field of a Docker VolumeDriver.Create request without verifying that the result stays within drv.root (default /var/lib/docker-volumes/rclone), and checkMountpoint() then creates that directory with file.MkdirAll before mounting. A volume name containing enough `..` components (e.g. "../../../../../../etc") therefore resolves outside the base directory, allowing anyone able to submit a VolumeDriver.Create request to the plugin socket — normally the Docker daemon, or a workload that can request named volumes in a multi-tenant orchestration setup — to make the privileged rclone plugin process create a directory and mount a remote filesystem specified in the same request at an arbitrary host path, shadowing or disrupting system directories. The advisory notes Volume.restoreState() had the same missing validation when reloading persisted volume state. Fixed in 1.75.1.12hCVE-2026-198605.5 MED6.7%

Prior to 0.10.9, the caption-download MCP tool accepts a caller-controlled file parameter through cmd/caption/download.go and passes it to Caption.Download() in pkg/caption/caption.go, where os.Create() creates or truncates that path without using the pkg.Root confinement boundary backed by YUTU_ROOT. A principal able to invoke caption-download, including a local HTTP client when the MCP server runs with its default authentication-disabled configuration, can write downloaded caption bytes to any path writable by the yutu process outside YUTU_ROOT. This can overwrite application files, configuration, shell startup files, logs, or data and can cause persistent code execution or denial of service depending on the selected writable target. Live caption retrieval also requires usable service credentials and an accessible caption identifier. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.9.1dCVE-2026-54583—43.0%

Malicious package index data could place an unsafe value in indexEntry->bundlefile, and the missing is_valid_bundle_filename() checks allowed downloaded package data to be written outside the intended cache location or to an unsafe destination name. ——13mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, package installation lacked a preflight check for incoming non-directory assets that already existed on disk. The affected logic across libmport/check_preconditions.c, libmport/install_primative.c, and libmport/mport_private.h did not apply MPORT_PRECHECK_FILE_CONFLICTS, so a crafted or conflicting package could overwrite a file owned by another package or unmanaged by mport. The check is bypassed only when the operator explicitly enables mport->force. Privileged installation without that override could compromise local filesystem integrity and package database consistency. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.2d
