Missing critical step in authentication in Apache HttpClient 5.6 allows an attacker to cause the client to accept SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication without proper mutual authentication verification. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.6.1, which fixes this issue.

——11Missing Critical Step in Authentication vulnerability in Apache Tomcat when the JNDIRealm was configured to authenticate binds using GSSAPI allowed attackers to authenticate without provided the correct password.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.4, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.36, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.100, from 8.5.0 through 8.5.100, from 7.0.0 through 7.0.109.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.5, 10.1.37 or 9.0.101, which fixes the issue.14dCVE-2026-422467.4 ALT24.6%
——7Net::IMAP implements Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) client functionality in Ruby. Prior to versions 0.3.10, 0.4.24, 0.5.14, and 0.6.4, a man-in-the-middle attacker can cause Net::IMAP#starttls to return "successfully", without starting TLS. This issue has been patched in versions 0.3.10, 0.4.24, 0.5.14, and 0.6.4.2dCVE-2026-579157.3 ALT24.2%
——7It is possible to bypass the Kerberos pre-authentication check in Apache Kerby by sending a PA-DATA with an unrecognized or unsupported type. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.1.2, which fixes this issue.2dCVE-2026-46018.7 ALT21.9%
——7Versions of the package jsrsasign before 11.1.1 are vulnerable to Missing Cryptographic Step via the KJUR.crypto.DSA.signWithMessageHash process in the DSA signing implementation. An attacker can recover the private key by forcing r or s to be zero, so the library emits an invalid signature without retrying, and then solves for x from the resulting signature.13hCVE-2026-586386.0 MED14.0%

——4Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.9, a library-level vulnerability was identified in the Authlib Python library concerning the validation of OpenID Connect (OIDC) ID Tokens. Specifically, the internal hash verification logic (_verify_hash) responsible for validating the at_hash (Access Token Hash) and c_hash (Authorization Code Hash) claims exhibits a fail-open behavior when encountering an unsupported or unknown cryptographic algorithm. This flaw allows an attacker to bypass mandatory integrity protections by supplying a forged ID Token with a deliberately unrecognized alg header parameter. The library intercepts the unsupported state and silently returns True (validation passed), inherently violating fundamental cryptographic design principles and direct OIDC specifications. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.9.2d
