ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to 5.0.6, the opfilter Endpoint Security system extension (bundle ID uk.craigbass.clearancekit.opfilter) can be suspended with SIGSTOP or kill -STOP, or killed with SIGKILL/SIGTERM, by any process running as root. While the extension is suspended, all AUTH Endpoint Security events time out and default to allow, silently disabling ClearanceKit's file-access policy enforcement for the duration of the suspension. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.6.

———Apache Wicket 10.10.0, 10.11.0 and 9.24.0 do not set the Content-Security-Policy headers on a page whose render request handler is wrapped in more than one IRequestHandlerDelegate. The framework unwraps only a single delegate level when deciding whether a request renders a page, so with a deeper chain, for example an application-provided delegating request mapper combined with CryptoMapper, the page is served without any CSP header even though CSP is enabled, and no error or warning is raised. The nonce-based protection Wicket applies to inline scripts and styles, together with any other CSP directives configured by the application, is thereby lost for those pages, exposing them to content injection the policy was meant to prevent. Applications on stock Wicket that do not wrap request handlers themselves are not affected. Versions before 10.10.0 and 9.24.0 handled nested delegates correctly. ———Prefab UI's Generative UI sandbox runs caller-supplied Python inside Pyodide, Python compiled to WebAssembly, in a Deno subprocess. The feature is documented as isolation for untrusted code, including LLM-written UI. From prefab-ui 0.14.0 through 0.20.2 the launcher starts Deno with unrestricted --allow-read, --allow-write, and --allow-net, and the runner leaves the Deno API on the JavaScript global object. Pyodide's js module proxies that global, so the Python can call Deno.readTextFileSync and Deno.writeTextFileSync. A caller who can supply the code can read and write files as the server OS user, and can persist code execution by writing a .pth file into the server virtualenv's site-packages. The usual remote path is FastMCP's GenerativeUI provider, which registers the MCP tool generate_prefab_ui and forwards that tool's code argument into this sandbox. On a FastMCP server with no authentication configured, any client who can reach the server can call the tool. With authentication, any client allowed to call tools can. Generative UI is opt-in, and the host must have Deno installed. Confirmed on prefab-ui 0.20.2. Fixed in 0.21.0: after the runtime and Prefab sources load, the runner revokes Deno read, write, and network permission before it accepts code, the process is started with --no-prompt so a permission request cannot grant them again, and bootstrap network access is limited to cdn.jsdelivr.net. ——12In Trail of Bits fickling through 0.1.12, the _process_import() method in fickle.py adds an imported name to the likely_safe_imports set whenever the source module is present in sys.stdlib_module_names and the name is absent from the UNSAFE_IMPORTS denylist, without inspecting what the name resolves to or how it behaves. The OvertlyBadEvals analysis pass in analysis.py then unconditionally skips any call whose function name appears in likely_safe_imports, including calls that would otherwise be flagged as overtly dangerous. As a result, any callable reachable through a non-blocked standard library module inherits module-level trust regardless of its own behavior, and check_safety() returns LIKELY_SAFE with zero findings for pickle payloads that reach code execution or file write through such callables. Demonstrated primitives: dataclasses._create_fn, which passes an attacker-controlled function body to exec() and yields arbitrary code execution on Python 3.7 through 3.12 (the internal _create_fn function was removed in Python 3.13); mailcap.findmatch, which internally calls os.system() on a test command taken from an attacker-controlled caps dictionary, yielding arbitrary code execution on Python versions through 3.12 (the mailcap module was removed in Python 3.13); and readline.add_history() followed by readline.write_history_file(), which writes attacker-controlled content to an arbitrary filesystem path (POSIX platforms, where the readline module is available). fickling.load() chains check_safety() into pickle.loads() as an explicit security gate, so a LIKELY_SAFE verdict causes the payload to be deserialized and executed with the privileges of the victim process. The root cause is the inference of callable safety from module origin; it is independent of, and separately fixable from, the dotted __qualname__ resolution weakness tracked as CVE-2026-118938, which this advisory does not address. As of 2026-10-30 the three demonstrated modules were added to UNSAFE_IMPORTS on the vendor master branch (commit d011709) pending release; released versions through 0.1.12 remain affected, and the module-origin trust root cause persists, as demonstrated by the related CVE-2026-118938 remaining exploitable on that same build.2dCVE-2026-1123486.5 MED22.1%
