Descripción técnica

GLPI is a free asset and IT management software package. From 11.0.0 until 11.0.8, the time-based one-time password verification endpoint does not limit failed submissions per user. An attacker who has obtained a user's primary authentication credentials can repeatedly submit TOTP values against the MFA verification flow, making brute-force compromise of the second factor and subsequent account takeover possible. This issue is fixed in version 11.0.8.

——9A flaw has been found in YunaiV/zhijiantianya ruoyi-vue-pro up to 2026.09. The impacted element is the function SmsCodeServiceImpl.validateSmsCode0 of the file /service/sms/SmsCodeServiceImpl.java of the component SMS Code Verification. This manipulation causes improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts. The attack may be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is regarded as difficult. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.14h

——4OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. In versions 2.1.0 and prior, a returning client's six-digit booking PIN can be brute-forced online in the victim tenant. A successful guess yields the client's booking access token, granting access to that client's appointment tunnel, which holds their end-to-end-encrypted appointment data, and the ability to act as the client, for example adding or cancelling appointments in the tunnel. The bypass is cross-tenant: state owned by one tenant removes an authentication protection of a different tenant. This crossing of the tenant boundary is the basis for the scope-changed vector. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.2d

——8ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.33.0, the self-service password-change endpoint verifies the current password but does not use the login module’s failed-attempt counter, throttle, delay, or lockout mechanism. An attacker with a valid authenticated session can submit repeated guesses for the current password without receiving a lockout or throttle response. This issue is fixed in version 4.33.0.4d

——7A vulnerability in the proprietary protocol could allow an attacker to brute force the administrator password without restrictions, even when the SafeEnhancement feature is enabled.5d
CVE-2024-23234.8 MED

——4The RemoteUserStoreManagerService does not sufficiently validate password change attempts when the password history validation feature is enabled. This oversight allows an attacker to repeatedly attempt password guesses for a user account without being adequately restricted. Exploiting this vulnerability enables an attacker to discover a user's password through brute force, leading to account impersonation. The success rate of such an attack is influenced by the complexity of the targeted user's password, with simpler passwords increasing the likelihood of compromise.5d

——6FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform. From 0.1.0 until 0.8.7, the unauthenticated POST /api/guest/client/create endpoint reveals whether a submitted email belongs to a registered client because guest signup returns a distinct unredacted error when the submitted email already exists. The trigger is an unauthenticated request to POST /api/guest/client/create with a target email address. An attacker can compare the guest-signup response for a target email to determine whether the email belongs to an existing FOSSBilling client. Box\Mod\Client\Api\Guest::create returns the error after Client\Service::clientAlreadyExists finds a matching record, and the API response exposes that exception message without redaction. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.7.4d
