Descripción técnica

ESPHome Device Builder Dashboard is a dashboard for the ESPHome home management software. Prior to 1.0.10, the `Home Assistant` add-on's trusted `ingress` site binds to `0.0.0.0` while intentionally skipping dashboard authentication because the supervisor is expected to authenticate requests upstream. Host networking, required for mDNS, also binds this no-auth site to the `Home Assistant` host's LAN interface. Any device on that local network can therefore connect directly to the `ingress` port, bypass the supervisor, and obtain the full dashboard without credentials or operator misconfiguration. Dashboard capability includes compile-time Python execution through `external_components:`, shell execution through compile and validation subprocesses, and arbitrary access to configuration and data files, compromising the mounted `Home Assistant` configuration and managed ESPHome devices. The standalone Docker dashboard and the password-gated public port 6052 are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.10.

——19OpenHands Software Agent SDK before 1.52.0 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability where the DockerWorkspace and Apptainer workspace launchers bind the sandbox agent server to all network interfaces (0.0.0.0) with an empty session_api_keys list, disabling authentication by default. Attackers who can reach the published container port can send unauthenticated HTTP and WebSocket requests to execute arbitrary shell commands as root in the sandbox, access the mounted workspace, and read plaintext secrets from the secrets store.2d

——5LlamaFarm through 0.0.34 contains an insecure default configuration that binds its unauthenticated FastAPI server to 0.0.0.0 on port 14345, while the lf CLI silently discards HOST overrides. Network-adjacent attackers can call the project and dataset management API to read stored provider API keys, modify projects, trigger ingestion, and irreversibly delete projects.12d

——13Penpot before 2.18.0 binds the MCP server plugin WebSocket bridge to all network interfaces without authentication in single-user mode. Unauthenticated attackers on adjacent networks can connect to the WebSocket port to impersonate the Penpot browser plugin, intercept task payloads, and return forged results to the MCP client.20d

——18PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonaiagents 1.6.59, ToolsMCPServer.run_sse and launch_tools_mcp_server bind to 0.0.0.0 and create /sse and /messages/ routes without invoking the available SecurityConfig authentication, origin-validation, or DNS-rebinding controls. Any reachable client can list and invoke registered tools, and a browser can target a local instance through DNS rebinding, with impact determined by the registered file, shell, and code-execution tools. This vulnerability is fixed in praisonaiagents 1.6.59.44d

——16fastify-cli starts the Node.js Inspector when a debug flag is used, but it ignores the explicit bind address the user supplies and binds the Inspector to a broadly reachable address instead of the intended loopback. As a result the debugging interface can be exposed beyond the local machine, and because the Inspector protocol allows arbitrary code evaluation, a remote party that reaches it can achieve remote code execution on the developer's machine. This affects fastify-cli from 1.5.0 up to 8.0.1. Users should upgrade to fastify-cli 8.0.1, which honors the configured Inspector bind address.50d
