An authorization bypass vulnerability in LXD allows an authenticated attacker to bypass target project security restrictions during cross-project instance migrations. When moving an instance cross-project to a different cluster member via POST /1.0/instances/{name} with migration: true, project: <target>, and target: <member>, the destination node skips all project restriction checks because the request arrives as an internal cluster notification. An attacker can exploit this to introduce disallowed instance configurations into a restricted project.

Prior to 2026.55, an unauthenticated holder of a public note share link receives project-wide collaborative editing metadata because the public share consumer joins the same collaboration group as authenticated project members and forwards client information, connection, awareness, and deletion events without consistently restricting them to the shared note subtree. Prior to 0.13.7, ForbiddenListSpec.ExactMatch in pkg/api/forbidden_list.go sorts denied metadata keys case-insensitively and then uses sort.SearchStrings, which assumes byte-order sorting. When an administrator's forbidden list mixes capitalized and lowercase keys or otherwise has different case-insensitive and byte ordering, the binary search can return false for a key that is present. An authenticated tenant owner can then pass the missed key through api.ValidateForbidden and bypass configured namespace, Service, or delegated node metadata restrictions, potentially influencing cluster policies, network exposure, or scheduling outside the tenant boundary. Uniformly lowercase lists whose two orderings coincide are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.1dCVE-2026-935948.1 ALT27.3%
——8ArcadeDB (Maven artifact com.arcadedb:arcadedb-engine) through 26.8.1 enforces its per-type/per-record access-control rules only in LocalBucket, keyed on file id. Query-execution paths that reach record data through LSM index files or the TimeSeries engine never invoke that permission check, so an authenticated user who is denied readRecord/deleteRecord on a type can still, with a single ordinary SQL statement, read the type's indexed key values and record IDs (e.g. SELECT key, rid FROM INDEX:Type[field]), read MAX/MIN values via the index shortcut, read and count TimeSeries samples, learn the type's record count, and delete index entries (DELETE FROM INDEX:Type[field]), which desynchronizes the index from the data and can defeat unique constraints. Index and type names needed for exploitation are discoverable because SELECT FROM schema:indexes is unfiltered. The issue affects both embedded and server deployments and all transports (HTTP, Bolt, Postgres, Gremlin) once a principal is bound. Fixed in 26.9.1.1d
