Descripción técnica

NVIDIA Infrastructure Controller for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause external control of a file name or path. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, data tampering, and denial of service.

CVE-2026-77247
0MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, Jira and Confluence upload tools interpret caller-controlled path arguments on the MCP server and open those files before sending them as attachments. In remote or multi-user deployments, a permitted client can disclose host files without shell or direct filesystem access. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through AttachmentsMixin.upload_attachment, AttachmentsMixin.upload_attachments, file_path, file_paths, and jira update_issue, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.2h
CVE-2026-836038.4 ALT
0Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.10.4, the setuid-root ndsudo helper command fail2ban-client-status-socket in src/collectors/utils/ndsudo.c accepts a caller-controlled --socket_path from the low-privileged netdata service account. The account can direct root fail2ban-client to a malicious UNIX socket, and fail2ban/client/csocket.py CSocket.receive() passes the returned data to pickle.loads(), allowing attacker-controlled code to execute as root on systems with fail2ban-client installed. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.4 and nightly build 2.10.0-782-nightly.3h
CVE-2026-77621
0Vector is a high-performance observability data pipeline. From 0.10.0 until 0.57.0, the file sink renders its templated path from event fields and opens the result without confining it to an intended directory. When an untrusted source supplies an event field used by the path template, the value can contain an absolute path or parent-directory traversal, causing Vector to create parent directories and create or overwrite files outside the intended location with the Vector process privileges. The resulting file write can modify sensitive files and can lead to code execution when a scheduled task, authorization file, or subsequently executed script is targeted. This issue is fixed in version 0.57.0.5h

8NotebookLM MCP is an MCP server and HTTP service for interacting with Google NotebookLM and exporting generated content to local vault directories. Versions 1.6.0 through 2.0.2 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the `POST /batch-to-vault` endpoint, also exposed through the `batch_to_vault` MCP tool beginning in version 1.7.0, because attacker-controlled `vault_dir` and `slug_prefix` values can cause Markdown and JSON files to be written outside the intended vault directory to any location writable by the server process. Version 2.0.3 sanitizes `slug_prefix` and supports vault containment when `NOTEBOOKLM_VAULT_ROOT` is configured; containment is not enabled if that variable is unset. Users unable to upgrade should run the server as a dedicated unprivileged account restricted to the intended vault, keep the HTTP endpoint limited to localhost, and validate `vault_dir` values supplied by LLMs processing untrusted content.5h

11Conda is a system-level binary package and environment manager that runs on major operating systems and platforms. Prior to 26.5.2, parse_entry_point_def in conda/common/path/python.py accepted an unvalidated entry-point command from a noarch:python package's info/link.json metadata. CreatePythonEntryPointAction in conda/core/path_actions.py interpolated that command into target_short_path, and PrefixPathAction.target_full_path joined it to the installation prefix without verifying that the result remained under the intended bin or Scripts directory. create_python_entry_point in conda/gateways/disk/create.py then wrote an executable wrapper to the resulting path. A malicious package could use path separators, traversal segments, or an absolute command path to write outside the prefix or overwrite another in-prefix entry point during default install and environment transactions. Out-of-prefix writes require the target parent directory to exist, while an overwritten entry point can execute attacker-controlled Python when later invoked with the installing user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 26.5.2.1d

6mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. mport before 2.7.8 used TMPDIR while extracting package metafiles, including when running as root or in setuid/setgid contexts. An attacker able to control the environment for a privileged mport invocation could redirect temporary metadata extraction to an attacker-controlled location. PR 123 ignores unsafe TMPDIR values in privileged contexts and rejects empty TMPDIR. This issue has been patched in version 2.7.8.1d
