pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, a crafted PDF can cause long runtimes and large memory consumption when pypdf/_font.py function Font._collect_cid_character_widths expands unusually large CID font /W width ranges or excessive width entries during text extraction. This issue is fixed in 6.15.0.

——14Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions 13.0.0 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10, crafted requests targeting Next.js applications using App Router with at least one Server Action can lead to excessive CPU usage blocking processing of further requests in the same process. This issue has been fixed in versions 15.5.21 and 16.2.11.10dCVE-2026-501716.1 MED5.7%
——2Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15, 20.3.22, and 19.2.23, a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability exists in the @angular/common package of Angular. The formatNumber function, which is also utilized by DecimalPipe, PercentPipe, and CurrencyPipe, does not properly validate the upper bounds of the digitsInfo parameter. Specifically, the minimum and maximum fraction digits parsed from the digitsInfo string (e.g., 1.2-4) are converted to integers and used without limits. When parsing a maliciously crafted digitsInfo string with excessively large fraction digit values (e.g., 1.200000000-200000000), the internal roundNumber function attempts to pad the digits array to match the requested fraction size. This results in an unbounded loop that repeatedly pushes elements into an array. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15, 20.3.22, and 19.2.23.30dCVE-2026-456805.9 MED24.3%
——7OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation provides eBPF instrumentation based on the OpenTelemetry standard. Prior to version 0.9.0, OBI replays BPF probe hits into histogram observations by looping once per recorded run count. On busy systems, the run-count delta can become very large, causing the metrics exporter to spend excessive CPU time in a tight loop every collection interval. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.17dCVE-2025-565717.5 ALT33.1%
——10Finance.js v4.1.0 contains a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability via the IRR function’s depth parameter. Improper handling of the recursion/iteration limit can lead to excessive CPU usage, causing application stalls or crashes.35dCVE-2024-420717.8 ALT12.6%
——4In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ionic: use dev_consume_skb_any outside of napi
If we're not in a NAPI softirq context, we need to be careful
about how we call napi_consume_skb(), specifically we need to
call it with budget==0 to signal to it that we're not in a
safe context.
This was found while running some configuration stress testing
of traffic and a change queue config loop running, and this
curious note popped out:

I found that ionic_tx_clean() calls napi_consume_skb() which calls
napi_skb_cache_put(), but before that last call is the note
/* Zero budget indicate non-NAPI context called us, like netpoll */
and
DEBUG_NET_WARN_ON_ONCE(!in_softirq());
Those are pretty big hints that we're doing it wrong. We can pass a
context hint down through the calls to let ionic_tx_clean() know what
we're doing so it can call napi_consume_skb() correctly.4d
