The Botslab G980H dash camera firmware contains an authorization vulnerability in its session based command functionality. The product does not sufficiently associate an authenticated session with the client connection that established it, and subsequent privileged operations rely on possession of a valid session identifier without adequately validating the requesting client's authenticated context. An unauthenticated attacker with adjacent network access could potentially use valid session state associated with another client to access privileged functionality.

The handler matches each vhost's locationRules regular expressions against REQUEST_URI, the raw request line, while the web server routes on the path it has already percent-decoded and normalized. A request that percent-encodes a character of the path, inserts dot segments, or doubles a slash therefore reaches the protected resource under a URI that no rule regexp matches, and the vhost's default rule decides access. Deny rules, identity and group conditions, and unprotect and skip rules are bypassed alike.
Only a vhost whose default rule is more permissive than its other rules is affected. An authenticated user then reaches any URL a locationRules regexp was meant to restrict, but gains no more than that default rule already grants.15hCVE-2026-87720——

———DBHub is a database MCP server for Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, SQLite. Prior to version 0.22.6, setting `readonly = true` on the `execute_sql` tool does not make the connection read-only. The connectors are written to set PostgreSQL `default_transaction_read_only=on` (and open SQLite in `readOnly` mode), but that code is gated on a config value that is never populated, so it never runs. The only thing left enforcing read-only is a classifier that inspects the first keyword of each statement. Any `SELECT` that writes or has side effects through a function call passes it. With an ordinary role this allows sequence tampering; with a privileged role it allows writing arbitrary files on the server (`lo_export`), reading arbitrary host files (`pg_read_file`), and remote code execution (`dblink` + `COPY ... Prior to 0.23.5, the GET /api/sessions/{sessionId}/groups/{groupId}/invite-code endpoint and the GroupGetInviteCode MCP tool have no OPERATOR role requirement, allowing a valid VIEWER key scoped to a session to retrieve an active group invite code. The invite code is a transferable WhatsApp bearer capability, so an external account can join a group administered by the session without an OpenWA credential, gain read and post access to the group, and retain membership after the VIEWER key is revoked. Affected deployments are those that issue VIEWER keys to parties who should not be able to add accounts to administered groups; OPERATOR and ADMIN access is intended.
