Descripción técnica

Improper authorization in Apache bRPC (versions < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows remote attackers to access builtin services through the public port. Root Cause: ServerOptions.internal_port is documented to make builtin services (and Tabbed services) reachable only from the internal port, and the HTTP/h2 dispatch path enforced this. However, all protobuf-based protocol dispatch paths (baidu_std, hulu_pbrpc, sofa_pbrpc, and the nshead-based protocols public_pbrpc, nshead_mcpack, nova_pbrpc and ubrpc2pb) computed the security_mode flag but never enforced it between method resolution and method invocation. Since builtin services share the method map with user services, a client able to reach the public port could invoke builtin services such as brpc.vars or hotspots by name over these pb protocols and disclose sensitive runtime information (metrics, flags, profiler data) that the operator intended to expose only via the internal port. Affected Scenarios: Use a bRPC server with ServerOptions.internal_port configured (or with builtin/Tabbed services otherwise expected to be gated by it) while the public port is reachable from an untrusted network and any pb-based protocol is enabled. How to Fix: (Choose one of the following options)  1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3511

——7A vulnerability was found in xxyopen/201206030 novel up to 3.5.0. Affected is the function getBookChapter of the file src/main/java/io/github/xxyopen/novel/service/impl/BookServiceImpl.java of the component Book Chapter Read Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument chapterId results in authorization bypass. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The patch is named b8134e774820e0971fa9d8074405b49a01c99bdc. It is suggested to install a patch to address this issue.2d

——7A vulnerability has been found in xxyopen/201206030 novel up to 3.5.0. This impacts the function BookServiceImpl.getBookContentAbout of the file src/main/java/io/github/xxyopen/novel/service/impl/BookServiceImpl.java of the component Book Content Service. Such manipulation of the argument chapterId leads to improper authorization. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The name of the patch is 966c4bdde3521dc0a165d15a2acff66ee33eaaa7. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue.2d

——4A security flaw has been discovered in nasa-gcn gcn.nasa.gov up to b299b562af665878964b981a459f0a9c04b11adf. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /user/email of the component Email Notification Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument Recipient results in improper authorization. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery. Therefore, version details for affected or updated releases cannot be specified. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.2d

——7Kubeflow Pipelines enables users to build and deploy portable, scalable machine learning workflows. Prior to 2.16.1, the multi-user API server treats the empty namespace used by shared or global pipelines as an authorization exception for modification and deletion operations. An authenticated user can modify or delete shared pipeline definitions and versions without the required Kubernetes RBAC permissions, compromising their integrity and availability. Read-only access to shared pipelines remains intentional, single-user deployments intentionally bypass multi-user checks, and execution of a modified pipeline is a conditional downstream consequence. The separate shared-pipeline multipart upload authorization path is outside this advisory and is not remediated by version 2.16.1. This issue is fixed in version 2.16.1.2d

——13OpenHuman is an open-source agent harness available as a desktop application and Rust library. Before 0.56.0 on macOS, the runtime injected into a supported remote account webview such as Google Meet allows page JavaScript to call getDisplayMedia without a live user gesture. Instead of rejecting the request, the shim falls through to native Chromium capture behavior, and the embedded CEF environment can auto-select the primary display because it lacks the normal desktop-media picker. If OpenHuman already has macOS Screen Recording permission and an attacker obtains JavaScript execution in an allowed embedded origin, the attacker can obtain a real desktop capture stream without a new user gesture. The stream can expose chats, documents, source code, email, meeting content, credentials, one-time codes, and other visible desktop information. The separate direct screen_share_begin_session IPC path failing origin validation does not prevent exploitation through getDisplayMedia. This issue is fixed in version 0.56.0.2d

——20OpenHuman is an open-source agent harness available as a desktop application and Rust library. Before version 0.57.13, an attacker who can send messages to a configured external channel can cause the agent to create persistent shell cron jobs without human approval. The scheduler later executes these jobs with the privileges of the OpenHuman runtime user. Command validation also permits leading environment assignments that can redirect allowed commands to executable helpers. The demonstrated exploit requires a suitable helper executable already present on the host. This can lead to unauthorized persistent command execution and compromise data and resources accessible to OpenHuman. This issue is fixed in version 0.57.13.2d
