`jwkFields.CheckConsistency` detected duplicate `key_ops` entries with a pairwise nested loop, making validation cost grow with the **square** of the entry count. Because the check runs on every JWK and JWKS unmarshal, a modestly sized but hostile JWKS document could occupy a CPU core for many seconds.

CVE-2026-16762—35.9%
——11An attacker able to supply a crafted XML document to an application using QXmlStreamReader can cause disproportionate CPU consumption during parsing, making the application unresponsive (denial of service). Exploitation requires only that the application parse attacker-influenced XML; no authentication, privileges, or user interaction beyond ingesting the input are needed. There is no loss of confidentiality or integrity — no data disclosure, data modification, or code execution — and the impact is contained to the affected process.9hCVE-2026-1153527.5 ALT28.4%
——9Mistune before 3.3.0 contains an algorithmic complexity vulnerability in the inline link parser that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust CPU by submitting long runs of unmatched '[' characters. Attackers can send small markdown payloads that trigger O(N^2) parse_link_text and parse_link_label probing, occupying rendering workers for 30+ seconds per 16 KB input.1dCVE-2026-1153477.5 ALT34.1%
——10Mistune before 3.3.0 contains an inefficient algorithmic complexity vulnerability in parse_link_text that allows remote attackers to cause denial of service through unbalanced square brackets. Attackers can submit markdown containing long runs of unmatched brackets to mistune.html(), triggering repeated forward scans that stall worker processes for minutes.1dCVE-2026-1153192.5 BAJ0.8%
——0fzf 0.36.0 through 0.74.5 contains an inefficient algorithmic complexity vulnerability in maskActionContents that allows local attackers to exhaust the --listen HTTP server through quadratic string concatenation. Attackers can repeatedly send POST bodies of about 1 MB to the unauthenticated localhost port, blocking the single-threaded server for about 30 seconds each time.1dCVE-2026-96643—25.4%
——8Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 11.0.0 until 13.0.0, Exif.load() in src/PIL/Image.py repeatedly slices the remaining EXIF data while it begins with the six-byte Exif header. src/PIL/PngImagePlugin.py accepts an uncapped PNG eXIf chunk, so a file filled with repeated headers causes a new shrinking copy on every iteration and quadratic CPU work. The condition is reachable through Image.getexif(), Image._getexif(), and ImageOps.exif_transpose(), including common photo-upload rotation workflows. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.2dCVE-2026-96640—35.4%
——11Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, PdfParser.linearize_page_tree() in src/PIL/PdfParser.py treats a PDF /Pages graph as a tree without tracking duplicate indirect references. When Image.save(..., format="PDF", append=True) processes an attacker-controlled existing PDF whose /Kids arrays repeatedly reference the same child /Pages node, Pillow expands the shared subtree as distinct pages. A compact malformed PDF can therefore create exponentially many page references and consume disproportionate CPU before the append completes. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.2d
