Descripción técnica

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From 16.3.0 until 16.3.8, pending use cache fills for the same key are shared without separating Draft Mode requests from regular requests. An overlapping regular request can receive unauthenticated unpublished content from an editor's Draft Mode fill, while an overlapping Draft Mode request can receive published content from a regular fill. When the regular request prerenders a page, the draft-dependent content can persist in the generated page and be served to later visitors until revalidation. Sites are affected when Cache Components or experimental.useCache is enabled and cached functions return draft-dependent content. This issue is fixed in version 16.3.8.

———** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** Use of cache containing sensitive information vulnerability in Apache Cocoon. When using the cache on a multi-user application, cached values for one user could be used when serving content for other users. This issue affects Apache Cocoon: all versions. As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative or restrict access to the instance to trusted users. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.9h

——0Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in Apache Camel HTTP component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The OAuth2 client token cache is global to the JVM, and its key omitted several of the fields that determine what a token actually authorises: the requested scope, the resource indicator, and the token endpoint the token was obtained from. Two endpoints differing only in those fields therefore shared a cache entry, and an endpoint could be served a token minted for a different scope, a different resource, or by a different authorization server. The consequence is a request carrying broader authority than the endpoint was configured for, or a token presented to a party it was not issued for. Reaching it requires a deployment that configures more than one OAuth2 endpoint differing in exactly those fields, which is why the severity is assessed low. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. The cache key now includes every field that shapes the token, so entries are no longer shared between endpoints that differ in any of them. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, run endpoints that differ in scope, resource indicator or token endpoint in separate JVMs so that they do not share the cache.1d

——1undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 7.0.0 through 7.30.0 and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, when an originless Agent composes the redirect and cache interceptors in that order with a shared cache store, the cache builds its key from the original request URL before the redirect handler changes the origin, so a response produced after a cross-origin redirect is stored under the original key. An attacker who controls the target of a redirect from a trusted URL can have their response cached under that trusted URL and served to later callers, allowing persistent cache poisoning, and the same key confusion lets a private, non-stored redirect response to a user-specific resource be stored under the original URL and served to a later unauthenticated caller, disclosing private data. Applications are affected only when an originless Agent, a shared cache store, and the redirect-then-cache composition are all used. The issue is fixed in undici 7.30.1 and 8.12.2, which verify the producing origin still matches the cache key and preserve each redirect hop's cache-control policy before storing, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, compose the cache interceptor before the redirect interceptor, use per-origin dispatchers and cache stores, or disable shared caching on redirect-capable requests.1d

——5The SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.2 via the 'comment_author_*, comment_author_email_*' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the full name and email address of returning commenters pre-filled into comment form input fields and persisted as the site-wide cached page by any unauthenticated attacker requesting the same public URL. The read-side handler in advanced-cache.php correctly skips cached delivery for requests carrying comment_author_* cookies, but this check is absent on the write path, meaning the cache poisoning is invisible to the victim commenter yet fully exploitable by any unauthenticated attacker with no cookies.7d

——3Contao is an Open Source CMS. From version 5.7.0 until 5.7.12, TableAccessVoter::hasAccessToModule() in core-bundle/src/Security/Voter/DataContainer/TableAccessVoter.php caches authorization decisions using only $tokenHash, a hash of the user's security token, and omits the table returned by getDataSource(). If one request first checks a table allowed to the user and then a different denied table, the voter can reuse the allowed result, while DefaultDataContainerVoter can convert an incorrect abstention into a grant. A low-privileged backend user can consequently read, create, update, or delete records in tables outside assigned module permissions, including tables containing member or newsletter-subscriber data. This issue is fixed in version 5.7.12.4d

——3vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.30.0, Harmony tool continuations submitted through "POST /v1/responses" requests rebuild the next-turn engine input without preserving the cache_salt value, placing the continuation prefix in the global unsalted cache namespace even when the caller enabled salting. On deployments with prefix caching enabled, which is the default, an authenticated tenant who can reconstruct a victim's low-entropy post-tool history can submit the same continuation and use the cached_tokens_per_turn count to determine whether the prefix was previously processed, defeating the intended tenant isolation of salted prefix caching. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.0.13d
