1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix exchange-range reflink flag clearing issue with INO1_WRITTEN When exchanging two full-file ranges, xmi_can_exchange_reflink_flags() can move the reflink inode flag from the file that currently has it to the other file, as long as exactly one side is marked. This assumes that the file contents, and therefore all shared extents, are exchanged. That assumption is not true when XFS_EXCHMAPS_INO1_WRITTEN is set. xfs_exchmaps_can_skip_mapping() can skip hole and unwritten mappings from file1, so an exchange can complete without moving every mapping that the earlier flag-swap decision accounted for. In that case the post-operation cleanup can clear the reflink flag from an inode that still owns shared written extents. Later writes then take the non-reflink write path and may update blocks that should still have been protected by CoW, which shows up as data corruption between reflink-related files. Fix this by disabling the reflink flag exchange whenever XFS_EXCHMAPS_INO1_WRITTEN is requested. The contents exchange can still proceed; the conservative outcome is that both inodes keep the reflink flag. The regular reflink flag cleanup path can drop the extra flag later once the inode no longer has shared extents.5d

1The RACK setsockopt(2) handler drops the connection lock in order to copy option data from userspace, then reacquires the lock. After reacquiring, it verifies that the TCP stack had not been switched away, but did not reload its pointer to the stack's per-connection control block. If userspace switches stacks twice during this window, the check will succeed but the saved pointer will refer to freed memory. The bug may be exploitable by an unprivileged local user to escalate privileges.12d

1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: reject FITRIM ranges shorter than a cluster ocfs2_trim_mainbm() trims the global bitmap in cluster units, but its too-short range validation only checks sb->s_blocksize. On filesystems with a cluster size larger than the block size, a FITRIM range that is at least one block but shorter than one cluster is accepted and shifted down to len == 0. The later start + len - 1 and len -= ... arithmetic then underflows and can drive trimming past the requested range. Reject ranges shorter than s_clustersize instead. That preserves the existing -EINVAL behavior for requests that cannot discard even one allocation unit and keeps zero-cluster trims out of the group walk.15d

1Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.2, the JWT verifier in lemur/auth/service.py:130-137 used fetch_token_header to read header_data["alg"] from an unverified token and passed that attacker-controlled value to decode_with_multiple_secrets. PyJWT 2.x rejects alg=none with the configured key, so the flaw is a defense-in-depth gap rather than a direct authentication bypass in the shipped configuration. The unpinned algorithm can become exploitable after an asymmetric-signing migration through algorithm confusion, and it weakens algorithm-based anomaly detection because the token chooses the recorded value. A separate disclosure of LEMUR_TOKEN_SECRET would also permit forged HS256 tokens, although that disclosure is an independent prerequisite. The fix introduces the server-controlled LEMUR_TOKEN_ALGORITHMS allowlist and defaults it to HS256. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.2.14d

1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio-pci: Fix result size returned for the admin command completion The result size returned by virtio_pci_admin_dev_parts_get() is 8 bytes larger than the actual result data size. This occurs because the result_sg_size field of the command is filled with the result length from virtqueue_get_buf(), which includes both the data size and an additional 8 bytes of status. This oversized result size causes two issues: 1. The state transferred to the destination includes 8 bytes of extra data at the end. 2. The allocated buffer in the kernel may be smaller than the returned size, leading to failures when reading beyond the allocated size. The commit fixes this by subtracting the status size from the result of virtqueue_get_buf(). This fix has been tested through live migrations with virtio-net, virtio-net-transitional, and virtio-blk devices.33d

1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Bound root directory content to block size __tb_property_parse_dir() does not check that content_offset + content_len fits within block_len for the root directory case. When rootdir->length equals or exceeds block_len - 2, the entry loop reads past the allocated property block. Add a bounds check after computing content_offset and content_len to reject directories whose content extends past the block.57d

1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ptp: ocp: Fix board ID over-read The EEPROM board ID is a fixed 13-byte field and is not guaranteed to contain a NUL terminator. Passing it directly to devlink_info_version_fixed_put() treats it as a C string and may read beyond the field. Format at most OCP_BOARD_ID_LEN bytes into the existing local buffer before reporting the ID. Use a precision limit because the snprintf() output size alone does not bound the source string scan.7d

1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: protect extension_list reading with sb_lock in f2fs_sbi_show() In f2fs_sbi_show(), the extension_list, extension_count and hot_ext_count are read without holding sbi->sb_lock. If a concurrent sysfs store modifies the extension list via f2fs_update_extension_list(), the show path may read inconsistent count and array contents, potentially leading to out-of-bounds access or displaying stale data. Fix this by holding sb_lock around the entire extension list read and format operation.57d

1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dma-mapping: move dma_map_resource() sanity check into debug code dma_map_resource() uses pfn_valid() to ensure the range is not RAM. However, pfn_valid() only checks for availability of the memory map for a PFN but it does not ensure that the PFN is actually backed by RAM. On ARM64 with SPARSEMEM (128MB section granularity), MMIO addresses that share a section with RAM will falsely trigger the WARN_ON_ONCE and cause dma_map_resource() to return DMA_MAPPING_ERROR. This causes a WARNING on Raspberry Pi 4 during spi_bcm2835 probe because the SPI FIFO register (0xfe204004) falls in the same sparsemem section as the end of RAM (0xf8000000-0xfbffffff), both in section 31 (0xf8000000-0xffffffff). Move the sanity check from dma_map_resource() into debug_dma_map_phys() and replace the unreliable pfn_valid() with pfn_valid() && !PageReserved(), which correctly identifies actual usable RAM without false positives for MMIO regions that happen to have struct pages. Since dma_map_resource() is dma_map_phys(DMA_ATTR_MMIO), the check applies equally to both APIs. Any non-reserved page represents kernel memory to a sufficient degree that using DMA_ATTR_MMIO on it is almost certainly wrong and risks breaking coherency on non-coherent platforms. ZONE_DEVICE pages used for PCI P2P DMA (MEMORY_DEVICE_PCI_P2PDMA) have PageReserved set, so they will not trigger a false positive. The check no longer blocks the mapping and uses err_printk() to integrate with dma-debug filtering.15d

1Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller to bypass a scoping or authorization filter expressed as exists/2 over a relationship that declares both a limit (or from_many?) and a parent(...)-referencing filter or sort. AshSql.Join.related_query/3 skips the caller-supplied exists predicate for such relationships and delegates it to limit_from_many/5. When the relationship's own filter or sort references parent(...), limit_from_many/5 takes a branch that drops both the limit and the predicate, emitting a bare correlated EXISTS with no predicate. The check then matches any record that has any related row. Most severely, when the expression backs a policy (for example authorize_if expr(exists(memberships, user_id == ^actor(:id)))), the actor-scoping condition disappears and the policy passes for any actor with any related row. This issue affects ash_sql: from 0.4.1 before 0.7.1.1d

1The Sleuth Kit through 4.14.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the ISO9660 filesystem parser where the parse_susp() function trusts len_id, len_des, and len_src fields from the disk image to memcpy data into a stack buffer without verifying that the source data falls within the parsed SUSP block. An attacker can craft a malicious ISO image that causes reads past the end of the SUSP data buffer, and a zero-length SUSP entry can trigger an infinite parsing loop.39d
