0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix potential NULL pointer deref in error path of ice_set_ringparam() ice_set_ringparam nullifies tstamp_ring of temporary tx_rings, without clearing ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME bit. When ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME is set and the subsequent ice_setup_tx_ring() call fails, a NULL pointer dereference could happen in the unwinding sequence: ice_clean_tx_ring() -> ice_is_txtime_cfg() == true (ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME is set) -> ice_free_tx_tstamp_ring() -> ice_free_tstamp_ring() -> tstamp_ring->desc (NULL deref) Clear ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME bit to avoid the potential issue. Note that this potential issue is found by manual code review. Compile test only since unfortunately I don't have E830 devices.48d

0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm_mpam: Fix null pointer dereference when restoring bandwidth counters When an MSC supporting memory bandwidth monitoring is brought offline and then online, mpam_restore_mbwu_state() calls __ris_msmon_read() via ipi to restore the configuration of the bandwidth counters. It doesn't care about the value read, mbwu_arg.val, and doesn't set it leading to a null pointer dereference when __ris_msmon_read() adds to it. This results in a kernel oops with a call trace such as: Call trace: __ris_msmon_read+0x19c/0x64c (P) mpam_restore_mbwu_state+0xa0/0xe8 smp_call_on_cpu_callback+0x1c/0x38 process_one_work+0x154/0x4b4 worker_thread+0x188/0x310 kthread+0x11c/0x130 ret_from_fork+0x10/0x20 Provide a local variable for val to avoid __ris_msmon_read() dereferencing a null pointer when adding to val.38d

0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: endpoint: Add missing NULL check for alloc_workqueue() alloc_workqueue() can return NULL on memory allocation failure. Without proper error checking, this may lead to a NULL pointer dereference when queue_work() is later called with the NULL workqueue pointer in epf_ntb_epc_init(). Add a NULL check immediately after alloc_workqueue() and return -ENOMEM on failure to prevent the driver from loading with an invalid workqueue pointer.40d

0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: srcu: Don't queue workqueue handlers to never-online CPUs While an srcu_struct structure is in the midst of switching from CPU-0 to all-CPUs state, it can attempt to invoke callbacks for CPUs that have never been online. Worse yet, it can attempt in invoke callbacks for CPUs that never will be online, even including imaginary CPUs not in cpu_possible_mask. This can cause hangs on s390, which is not set up to deal with workqueue handlers being scheduled on such CPUs. This commit therefore causes Tree SRCU to refrain from queueing workqueue handlers on CPUs that have not yet (and might never) come online. Because callbacks are not invoked on CPUs that have not been online, it is an error to invoke call_srcu(), synchronize_srcu(), or synchronize_srcu_expedited() on a CPU that is not yet fully online. However, it turns out to be less code to redirect the callbacks from too-early invocations of call_srcu() than to warn about such invocations. This commit therefore also redirects callbacks queued on not-yet-fully-online CPUs to the boot CPU.20d

0A flaw was found in dbus-broker. When the process file-descriptor limit is reached, EMFILE/ENFILE errors during peer setup (notably SO_PEERPIDFD) are handled as fatal failures, causing the broker to exit. A local attacker who can open many connections to the user session bus can trigger this and deny service to the desktop session. Flatpak applications can reach the host session bus through the dbus proxy.8h

0ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-49 and 7.1.2-24, a crafted MVG file could result in a stack overflow due to a missing depth or visited-set check. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-49 and 7.1.2-24.40d

0IBM DataPower Gateway 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.1 and IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.21 and IBM DataPower Gateway 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.9 allows a race condition that results in improper isolation of request state when handling the built‑in X‑Client‑IP header. Under concurrent request processing, X‑Client‑IP values may be contaminated across requests, enabling IP spoofing and disclosure of other clients’ IP addresses.14d

0Dell Elastic Cloud Storage, version 3.8.1.7 and prior, and Dell ObjectScale, versions prior to 4.1.0.3 and version 4.2.0.0, contains an Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to secret exposure. The attacker may be able to use the exposed secret to access the vulnerable system with privileges of the compromised account.38d
