——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/irdma: Fix double free related to rereg_user_mr If IB_MR_REREG_TRANS is set during rereg_user_mr, the umem will be released and a new one will be allocated in irdma_rereg_mr_trans. If any step of irdma_rereg_mr_trans fails after the new umem is allocated, it releases the umem, but does not set iwmr->region to NULL. The problem is that this failure is propagated to the user, who will then call ibv_dereg_mr (as they should). Then, the dereg_mr path will see a non-NULL umem and attempt to call ib_umem_release again. Fix this by setting iwmr->region to NULL after ib_umem_release. Fixed: 5ac388db27c4 ("RDMA/irdma: Add support to re-register a memory region")15d

Concurrent packet processing on other CPUs may still hold RCU-protected references to the timeout object obtained via rcu_dereference() in nf_ct_timeout_data(). Add an rcu_head to struct nf_ct_timeout and use kfree_rcu() to defer freeing until after an RCU grace period, matching the approach already used in nfnetlink_cttimeout.c. ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: logitech-dj: Fix maxfield check in DJ short report validation Commit b6a57912854e ("HID: logitech-dj: Prevent REPORT_ID_DJ_SHORT related user initiated OOB write") added validation for the DJ short output report, but the error path dereferences rep->field[0] even when rep->maxfield is zero. Commit 8b9a097eb2fc ("HID: logitech-dj: fix wrong detection of bad DJ_SHORT output report") made the check conditional on rep being present, but a crafted descriptor can still create report ID 0x20 with only padding output items. hid-core registers the report, ignores the padding field, and leaves rep->maxfield as zero. In that case the validation enters the rep->maxfield < 1 branch and then dereferences rep->field[0]->report_count while printing the error message, causing a NULL pointer dereference during probe. This is reproducible with uhid by emulating a Logitech receiver with a padding-only DJ short output report: BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in logi_dj_probe+0xb1/0x754 [hid_logitech_dj] Read of size 4 at addr 0000000000000028 by task kworker/4:1/129 ... ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware_loader: fix device reference leak in firmware_upload_register() firmware_upload_register() -> fw_create_instance() -> device_initialize() After fw_create_instance() succeeds, the lifetime of the embedded struct device is expected to be managed through the device core reference counting, since fw_create_instance() has already called device_initialize(). In firmware_upload_register(), if alloc_lookup_fw_priv() fails after fw_create_instance() succeeds, the code reaches free_fw_sysfs and frees fw_sysfs directly instead of releasing the device reference with put_device(). This may leave the reference count of the embedded struct device unbalanced, resulting in a refcount leak. The issue was identified by a static analysis tool I developed and confirmed by manual review. Fix this by using put_device(fw_dev) in the failure path and letting fw_dev_release() handle the final cleanup, instead of freeing the instance directly from the error path.56d

This could lead to a kernel crash when the invalid pointers are later dereferenced by clock core functions. Fix this by: 1. Changing clk_get() to the device-managed devm_clk_get(). 2. Adding IS_ERR() checks immediately after each clock acquisition.5d

——1Business::GoCardless versions before 1.01 for Perl accept forged webhooks when a configured webhook secret is undef or empty. signature_valid uses each configured secret as the HMAC key, and nothing rejects undef or an empty string, both of which Digest::SHA treats as an empty key. ——1A Kafka broker that authenticates clients with SASL/OAUTHBEARER using the bundled JWKS-backed validator always verifies the JWT signature, but two further checks are only performed when explicitly configured: - The issuer (iss) claim is verified only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token carrying the expected audience is accepted regardless of which issuer minted it. - An audience (aud) claim is required only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token that omits the aud claim is accepted. (A token that carries an aud claim is still rejected when no expected audience is configured.) Both options default to unset and have been documented as optional (Importance LOW) since KIP-768 (3.1.0). Impact: The exposure is realizable mainly in deployments whose JWKS endpoint serves signing keys for more than one issuer (a multi-tenant identity provider, an aggregated/shared JWKS, or shared signing keys): a token minted for a different issuer, or a token lacking an audience, may be accepted to authenticate — potentially as a higher-privileged principal. In a single-issuer deployment where the provider controls the iss claim and issues audience-scoped tokens, exposure is limited. The signature trust anchor remains enforced in all cases. This is distinct from CVE-2026-33557 (acceptance of unsigned/unvalidated tokens); here the signature is validated and only the issuer/audience checks are not enforced by default. Mitigation (all affected versions, no upgrade required): Set both sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer (to your provider's exact iss value) and sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience (to the audience(s) your brokers expect), per listener. Brokers that set these perform exact-match issuer/audience checks and are not affected. Both have been available since 3.1.0. Resolution: - From Apache Kafka 4.4.0: a broker configured with a JWKS endpoint fails to start unless both sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer and sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience are set (secure by default). Deployments that intentionally do not restrict the issuer and/or audience may opt out per axis with sasl.oauthbearer.allow.unverified.issuer=true and/or sasl.oauthbearer.allow.unverified.audience=true.5d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btmtksdio: fix infinite loop in btmtksdio_txrx_work() Every once in a while we see a hung btmtksdio_flush() task: INFO: task kworker/u17:0:189 blocked for more than 122 seconds. __cancel_work_timer+0x3f4/0x460 cancel_work_sync+0x1c/0x2c btmtksdio_flush+0x2c/0x40 hci_dev_open_sync+0x10c4/0x2190 [..] It all boils down to incorrect time_is_before_jiffies() usage in btmtksdio_txrx_work(). The btmtksdio_txrx_work() loop is expected to be terminated if running for longer than 5*HZ. However the timeout check is twisted: time_is_before_jiffies(old_jiffies + 5*HZ) evaluates to true when old_jiffies + 5*HZ is in the past i.e. when a timeout has occurred. Using OR with time_is_before_jiffies(txrx_timeout) means that: - before the 5-second timeout: the condition is `int_status || false`, so it loops as long as there are pending interrupts. - after the 5-second timeout: the condition becomes `int_status || true`, which is always true. When the loop becomes infinite btmtksdio_txrx_work() loop never terminates and never releases the SDIO host. Fix loop termination condition to actually enforce a 5*HZ timeout.60d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: verisilicon: Avoid G2 bus error while decoding H.264 and HEVC For the i.MX8MQ platform, there is a hardware limitation: the g1 VPU and g2 VPU cannot decode simultaneously; otherwise, it will cause below bus error and produce corrupted pictures, even potentially lead to system hang. [ 110.527986] hantro-vpu 38310000.video-codec: frame decode timed out. [ 110.583517] hantro-vpu 38310000.video-codec: bus error detected. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that g1 and g2 operate alternately. This allows for successful multi-instance decoding of H.264 and HEVC. To achieve this, g1 and g2 share the same v4l2_m2m_dev, and then the v4l2_m2m_dev can handle the scheduling.5d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ixgbevf: add missing negotiate_features op to Hyper-V ops table Commit a7075f501bd3 ("ixgbevf: fix mailbox API compatibility by negotiating supported features") added the .negotiate_features callback to ixgbe_mac_operations and populated it in ixgbevf_mac_ops, but forgot to add it to ixgbevf_hv_mac_ops. This leaves the function pointer NULL on Hyper-V VMs. During probe, ixgbevf_negotiate_api() calls ixgbevf_set_features(), which unconditionally dereferences hw->mac.ops.negotiate_features(). On Hyper-V this results in a NULL pointer dereference: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000 [...] Hardware name: Microsoft Corporation Virtual Machine/Virtual Machine [...] Workqueue: events work_for_cpu_fn RIP: 0010:0x0 [...] Call Trace: ixgbevf_negotiate_api+0x66/0x160 [ixgbevf] ixgbevf_sw_init+0xe4/0x1f0 [ixgbevf] ixgbevf_probe+0x20f/0x4a0 [ixgbevf] local_pci_probe+0x50/0xa0 work_for_cpu_fn+0x1a/0x30 [...] Add ixgbevf_hv_negotiate_features_vf() that returns -EOPNOTSUPP and wire it into ixgbevf_hv_mac_ops. ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: nSVM: Always use NextRIP as vmcb02's NextRIP after first L2 VMRUN For guests with NRIPS disabled, L1 does not provide NextRIP when running an L2 with an injected soft interrupt, instead it advances the current RIP before running it. KVM uses the current RIP as the NextRIP in vmcb02 to emulate a CPU without NRIPS. However, after L2 runs the first time, NextRIP will be updated by the CPU and/or KVM, and the current RIP is no longer the correct value to use in vmcb02. Hence, after save/restore, use the current RIP if and only if a nested run is pending, otherwise use NextRIP. Give soft_int_next_rip the same treatment, as it's the same logic, just for a narrower use case. [sean: give soft_int_next_rip the same treatment]5d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: microchip-core-qspi: control built-in cs manually The coreQSPI IP supports only a single chip select, which is automagically operated by the hardware - set low when the transmit buffer first gets written to and set high when the number of bytes written to the TOTALBYTES field of the FRAMES register have been sent on the bus. Additional devices must use GPIOs for their chip selects. It was reported to me that if there are two devices attached to this QSPI controller that the in-built chip select is set low while linux tries to access the device attached to the GPIO. This went undetected as the boards that connected multiple devices to the SPI controller all exclusively used GPIOs for chip selects, not relying on the built-in chip select at all. It turns out that this was because the built-in chip select, when controlled automagically, is set low when active and high when inactive, thereby ruling out its use for active-high devices or devices that need to transmit with the chip select disabled. Modify the driver so that it controls chip select directly, retaining the behaviour for mem_ops of setting the chip select active for the entire duration of the transfer in the exec_op callback. For regular transfers, implement the set_cs callback for the core to use. As part of this, the existing setup callback, mchp_coreqspi_setup_op(), is removed. Modifying the CLKIDLE field is not safe to do during operation when there are multiple devices, so this code is removed entirely. Setting the MASTER and ENABLE fields is something that can be done once at probe, it doesn't need to be re-run for each device. Instead the new setup callback sets the built-in chip select to its inactive state for active-low devices, as the reset value of the chip select in software controlled mode is low.5d
