CVE-2026-962628.2 ALT2.0%
——1IBM Power Systems Firmware FW1060.00 through FW1060.81 is affected by a vulnerability in the service processor mailbox interface. An attacker with authenticated service-level access to the FSP can send a specially crafted mailbox message to overflow host firmware runtime attribute storage, allowing arbitrary code to be executed in the host firmware runtime. This gives the attacker full access to the managed system's memory and hardware interfaces, resulting in a confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact to the managed system.21dCVE-2026-433555.5 MED2.0%

This is because commit d77e38e612a0 ("xfrm: Add an IPsec hardware
offloading API") implemented xfrm_dev_unregister() as no-op despite
xfrm_dev_state_add() from xfrm_state_construct() acquires a reference
to "struct net_device".
I guess that that commit expected that NETDEV_DOWN event is fired before
NETDEV_UNREGISTER event fires, and also assumed that xfrm_dev_state_add()
is called only if (dev->features & NETIF_F_HW_ESP) != 0.
Sabrina Dubroca identified steps to reproduce the same symptoms as below.
echo 0 > /sys/bus/netdevsim/new_device
dev=$(ls -1 /sys/bus/netdevsim/devices/netdevsim0/net/)
ip xfrm state add src 192.168.13.1 dst 192.168.13.2 proto esp \
spi 0x1000 mode tunnel aead 'rfc4106(gcm(aes))' $key 128 \
offload crypto dev $dev dir out
ethtool -K $dev esp-hw-offload off
echo 0 > /sys/bus/netdevsim/del_device
Like these steps indicate, the NETIF_F_HW_ESP bit can be cleared after
xfrm_dev_state_add() acquired a reference to "struct net_device".
Also, xfrm_dev_state_add() does not check for the NETIF_F_HW_ESP bit
when acquiring a reference to "struct net_device".
Commit 03891f820c21 ("xfrm: handle NETDEV_UNREGISTER for xfrm device")
re-introduced the NETDEV_UNREGISTER event to xfrm_dev_event(), but that
commit for unknown reason chose to share xfrm_dev_down() between the
NETDEV_DOWN event and the NETDEV_UNREGISTER event.
I guess that that commit missed the behavior in the previous paragraph.
Therefore, we need to re-introduce xfrm_dev_unregister() in order to
release the reference to "struct net_device" by unconditionally flushing
state and policy.4dCVE-2026-1161443.3 BAJ2.0%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: mpi3mr: Fix NULL pointer dereference in mpi3mr_sas_port_add()
sas_port_alloc_num() can return NULL on memory allocation failure. The
return value is passed directly to sas_port_add() without a NULL check,
which causes a NULL pointer dereference.
Additionally, if sas_port_add() fails, the allocated port is not freed
before jumping to out_fail, leaking the sas_port structure. Call
sas_port_free() to properly release it.12dCVE-2026-641315.5 MED2.0%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/memory: fix spurious warning when unmapping device-private/exclusive pages
Device private and exclusive entries are only supported for anonymous
folios. This condition is tested in __migrate_device_pages() and
make_device_exclusive() using folio_test_anon(). However the unmap path
tests this assumption using vma_is_anonymous().
This is wrong because whilst anonymous VMAs can only contain folios where
folio_test_anon() is true the opposite relation does not hold. A folio
for which folio_test_anon() is true does not imply vma_is_anonymous() is
true. Such a condition can occur if for example a folio is part of a
private filebacked mapping.
In this case vma_is_anonymous() is false as the mapping is filebacked, but
folio_test_anon() may be true, thus permitting devices to migrate the
folio to device private memory. This can lead to the following spurious
warnings during process teardown:

The faulting address 0x178 corresponds to the lock variable inside
struct fastrpc_channel_ctx, confirming that cctx is NULL when
fastrpc_rpmsg_callback() attempts to take the spinlock.
There are two issues here. First, dev_set_drvdata() is called before
spin_lock_init() and idr_init(), leaving a window where the callback
can retrieve a valid cctx pointer but operate on an uninitialized
spinlock. Second, the rpmsg channel becomes live as soon as the driver
is bound, so fastrpc_rpmsg_callback() can fire before dev_set_drvdata()
is called at all, resulting in dev_get_drvdata() returning NULL.
Fix both issues by moving all cctx initialization ahead of
dev_set_drvdata() so the structure is fully initialized before it
becomes visible to the callback, and add a NULL check in
fastrpc_rpmsg_callback() as a guard against any remaining window.119dCVE-2026-205435.5 MED2.0%

The crash occurs because arch_irq_work_raise() calls preempt_disable()
from machine check exception (MCE) handlers running in real mode. In
this context, accessing the preempt_count can fault, leading to the panic.
The preempt_disable()/preempt_enable() pair in arch_irq_work_raise()
was originally added by commit 0fe1ac48bef0 ("powerpc/perf_event: Fix
oops due to perf_event_do_pending call") to avoid races while raising
irq work from exception context.
Later, commit 471ba0e686cb ("irq_work: Do not raise an IPI when
queueing work on the local CPU") added preemption protection in
irq_work_queue() path, while commit 20b876918c06 ("irq_work: Use per
cpu atomics instead of regular atomics") added equivalent
protection in irq_work_queue_on() before reaching arch_irq_work_raise():
irq_work_queue() / irq_work_queue_on()
-> preempt_disable()
-> __irq_work_queue_local()
-> irq_work_raise()
-> arch_irq_work_raise()
As a result, callers other than mce_irq_work_raise() already execute
with preemption disabled, making the additional
preempt_disable()/preempt_enable() pair in arch_irq_work_raise()
redundant.
The arch_irq_work_raise() function executes in NMI context when called
from MCE handler. Hence we will not be preempted or scheduled out since
we are in NMI context with MSR[EE]=0. Therefore, it is safe to remove
the preempt_disable()/preempt_enable() calls from here.
Remove it to avoid accessing preempt_count from real mode context.

PREEMPT_RT a regular spinlock_t becomes a sleeping lock.
This issue was found by our static analysis tool and then manually
reviewed against the current tree.
The grounded PoC kept the request_threaded_irq() -> __setup_irq() ->
irq_startup() -> sch_irq_unmask() -> sch_irq_mask_unmask() carrier and
used the original spin_lock_irqsave(&sch->lock) edge. Lockdep reported:
BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context

Convert the SCH controller lock to raw_spinlock_t. The same lock is
also used by the GPIO direction and value callbacks, but those critical
sections only update MMIO-backed GPIO registers and do not contain
sleepable operations. Keeping this register lock non-sleeping is
therefore appropriate for the irqchip callbacks and does not change the
GPIO-side locking contract.60dCVE-2025-381507.8 ALT2.0%

Calling `PACKET_ADD_MEMBERSHIP` on an ops-locked device can trigger
the `NETDEV_UNREGISTER` notifier, which may require disabling promiscuous
and/or allmulti mode. Both of these operations require acquiring
the netdev instance lock.
Move the call to `packet_dev_mc` outside of the RCU critical section.
The `mclist` modifications (add, del, flush, unregister) are protected by
the RTNL, not the RCU. The RCU only protects the `sklist` and its
associated `sks`. The delayed operation on the `mclist` entry remains
within the RTNL.97dCVE-2025-305093.8 BAJ2.0%

System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable data manipulation. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (low) and availability (none) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.15dCVE-2026-43145—2.0%
