——1In versions below 2.1.4 of the Venafi app for Splunk SOAR, a user who holds a role with permission to run actions could expose keystore and private-key passwords by invoking the get certificate action, because the action's keystore_password and password parameters are not masked and are shown in cleartext in the user interface. The information disclosure is possible because the app does not mark the affected action parameters as passwords. For more information see Run an action in Splunk SOAR (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/use-splunk-soar-on-premises/8.6.0/use-the-command-line-interface-to-perform-tasks-in-splunk-soar-on-premises/run-an-action-in-splunk-soar-on-premises).75d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: keep the eviction fence until the last handle is closed amdgpu_gem_object_close() detaches the user queue eviction fence from the BO before it checks bo_va->ref_count, so closing any handle of a BO removes the fence, even when the file still has another handle to the BO and the bo_va with its GPU mappings stays. The BO can then be evicted without suspending the user queues of the file, which keep accessing it through mappings that are only marked for update. Seen on navi31 with a SDMA user queue: a BO opened twice in the same file (GEM_FLINK + GEM_OPEN) loses its eviction fence when the second handle is closed (traced attach/detach of the fence): attach bo=ffff8c78a6c84c00 GEM_CLOSE handle=7 detach bo=ffff8c78a6c84c00 while handle 6 and the mapping are still in use. Only detach the fence when the last reference to the bo_va goes away, matching amdgpu_gem_object_open(), which attaches it only when the bo_va is created. With this the fence stays until the file is closed. (cherry picked from commit 8387982f03d4026b7dc11b0b5e3118298eee4d6a)3d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/vmci: validate packet source for connected sockets vmci_transport_recv_stream_cb() looks up sockets first by the full source and destination tuple, then by destination only in the bound table. The fallback can select a non-listening socket without checking whether the packet came from its stored peer. This was reproduced with two VMCI contexts. A RST from the context not stored in a TCP_SYN_SENT socket reset that socket after it was selected by the destination-only lookup. VMCI can process notification packets in bottom-half context when the socket is not owned by user context, or defer packets to a workqueue. Use vsock_check_source() after taking the socket lock in the bottom-half path, and recheck after lock_sock() in the workqueue path. Listening sockets continue to accept packets from any source. Reply with a RST addressed from the received packet before dropping a source that fails validation. This preserves the existing reset behavior for bound non-listening and concurrently closed sockets without directing the reset to a connected socket's stored peer.3d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: l2tp: pppol2tp: hold reference to session in pppol2tp_ioctl() pppol2tp_ioctl() read sock->sk->sk_user_data directly without any locks or reference counting. If a controllable sleep was induced during copy_from_user() (e.g. via a userfaultfd page fault sleep), a concurrent socket close could trigger pppol2tp_session_close() asynchronously. This frees the l2tp_session structure via the l2tp_session_del_work workqueue. Upon resuming, the ioctl thread dereferences the stale session pointer, resulting in a Use-After-Free (UAF). Fix this by securely fetching the session reference using the RCU-safe, refcounted helper pppol2tp_sock_to_session(sk) on entry. This locks the session's refcount across the sleep. We structured the function to exit via standard err breaks, guaranteeing that l2tp_session_put() is cleanly called on all return paths to drop the reference. To preserve existing behavior we validate the session and its magic signature only for the specific L2TP commands that require it. This ensures that generic/unknown ioctls called on an unconnected socket still return -ENOIOCTLCMD and correctly fall back to generic handlers (e.g. in sock_do_ioctl()).4d

——1MailEnable versions prior to 10.54 contain a cleartext storage of credentials vulnerability that can lead to local credential compromise and account takeover. The product stores user and administrative passwords in plaintext within AUTH.SAV with overly permissive filesystem access. A local authenticated user with read access to this file can recover all user passwords and super-admin credentials, then use them to authenticate to MailEnable services such as POP3, SMTP, or the webmail interface, enabling unauthorized mailbox access and administrative control.20d

——1Backdrop CMS 1.34 before 1.34.5 and 1.35 before 1.35.1 doesn't sufficiently protect configuration exports when delivering a compressed archive. This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an export must have been previously requested by someone with the "Synchronize, import, and export configuration" permission. NOTE: CVE-2026-107914 refers to the vulnerability in which config.admin.inc does not ensure that a file_unmanaged_delete operation occurs. Therefore, many archives could persist: config.tar.gz, config_0.tar.gz, config_1.tar.gz, etc. There is a separate config.module issue that could allow remote access by an anonymous user, but only for the one filename config.tar.gz.20d

The user supplied buffer to hold the fiemap information page faults calling ocfs2_page_mkwrite() which will take a write lock (since v2.6.27-38-g00dc417fa3e7) of the same semaphore. This recursive semaphore will hold filesystem locks and causes a hang of the fileystem. The ip_alloc_sem protects the inode extent list and size. Release the read semphore before calling fiemap_fill_next_extent() in ocfs2_fiemap() and ocfs2_fiemap_inline(). This does an unnecessary semaphore lock/unlock on the last extent but simplifies the error path.15d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinmux: fix race causing mux_owner NULL with active mux_usecount commit 5a3e85c3c397 ("pinmux: Use sequential access to access desc->pinmux data") tried to address the issue when two client of the same gpio calls pinctrl_select_state() for the same functionality, was resulting in NULL pointer issue while accessing desc->mux_owner. However, issue was not completely fixed due to the way it was handled and it can still result in the same NULL pointer. The issue occurs due to the following interleaving: cpu0 (process A) cpu1 (process B) pin_request() { pin_free() { mutex_lock() desc->mux_usecount--; //becomes 0 .. mutex_unlock() mutex_lock(desc->mux) desc->mux_usecount++; // becomes 1 desc->mux_owner = owner; mutex_unlock(desc->mux) mutex_lock(desc->mux) desc->mux_owner = NULL; mutex_unlock(desc->mux) This sequence leads to a state where the pin appears to be in use (`mux_usecount == 1`) but has no owner (`mux_owner == NULL`), which can cause NULL pointer on next pin_request on the same pin. Ensure that updates to mux_usecount and mux_owner are performed atomically under the same lock. Only clear mux_owner when mux_usecount reaches zero and no new owner has been assigned.4d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: fix OOB access in DBG_BUF_PRODUCER async event handler The ASYNC_EVENT_CMPL_EVENT_ID_DBG_BUF_PRODUCER handler in bnxt_async_event_process() uses a firmware-supplied 'type' field directly as an index into bp->bs_trace[] without bounds validation. The 'type' field is a 16-bit value extracted from DMA-mapped completion ring memory that the NIC writes directly to host RAM. A malicious or compromised NIC can supply any value from 0 to 65535, causing an out-of-bounds access into kernel heap memory. The bnxt_bs_trace_check_wrap() call then dereferences bs_trace->magic_byte and writes to bs_trace->last_offset and bs_trace->wrapped, leading to kernel memory corruption or a crash. Fix by adding a bounds check and defining BNXT_TRACE_MAX as DBG_LOG_BUFFER_FLUSH_REQ_TYPE_ERR_QPC_TRACE + 1 to cover all currently defined firmware trace types (0x0 through 0xc).102d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KEYS: trusted: Fix TPM teardown ordering trusted_tpm_exit() drops the TPM chip reference and frees the digest array before unregistering the trusted key type. key_type_lookup() holds key_types_sem for reading until the key operation finishes, while unregister_key_type() takes it for writing. It therefore provides the synchronization point that must precede backend teardown. The current order permits this interleaving: CPU 0 CPU 1 trusted_tpm_exit() key_type_lookup("trusted") put_device(&chip->dev) trusted_tpm_seal() kfree(digests) pcrlock() unregister_key_type() tpm_pcr_extend(..., digests) CPU 1 can consequently dereference the freed digest array. The chip can also be released before callbacks stop using it. Prior to 0.23.0, the DAG-CBOR and DAG-JSON decoders recurse on each nested map or list without a depth limit. A payload containing deeply nested collections causes the decoder to recurse once per level, growing the goroutine stack until the Go runtime terminates the process with a fatal stack overflow (distinct from a recoverable panic).
