——0A vulnerability has been identified in the Acer System Monitoring component included with NitroSense and PredatorSense. The vulnerability is caused by the use of a hard-coded AES encryption key within the software. Under certain circumstances, a local attacker may be able to use the embedded key to access protected information or perform unauthorized actions.44d

——0H3C HDM Family-A verifies the RSA signature of a firmware image against a public key it reads from the mutable file `/conf/public.pem`. That file is writable by an authenticated Redfish client through the `UpdateService.UploadSignKey` action, which stores the uploaded body verbatim after validating only that the multipart filename ends in `.pem`. An administrator, or any account with `firmware-update` privilege, can therefore replace the trust anchor with their own key, sign a malicious image with the matching private key, and have it pass verification. Family-A has no hardware root-of-trust (no PFR) to catch the substituted key.  This was observed on H3C HDM Family-A G5 HDM 6.14.01. H3C HDM Family-A G3/G5 builds carrying the Redfish/DRE update tree appear to be affected. HDM2 uses a different update path and is not covered by this finding.16d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm cache policy smq: check allocation under invalidate lock commit 2d1f7b65f5de ("dm cache policy smq: fix missing locks in invalidating cache blocks") added mq->lock around the destructive part of smq_invalidate_mapping(), but left the e->allocated check outside the critical section. That leaves a check-then-act race. Two concurrent invalidators can both observe e->allocated as true before either of them takes mq->lock. The first invalidator that acquires the lock removes the entry from the queues and hash table and then calls free_entry(), which clears e->allocated and puts the entry back on the free list. The second invalidator can then acquire mq->lock and continue with the stale result of the unlocked check. This can corrupt the SMQ queues or hash table by deleting an entry that is no longer on those structures. It can also hit the allocation check in free_entry() when the same entry is freed again. Move the allocation check under mq->lock so the predicate and the destructive operations are serialized by the same lock.13d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Fix data-race warning and potential load/store tearing Fix the following: BUG: KCSAN: data-race in rxrpc_peer_keepalive_worker / rxrpc_send_data_packet which is reporting an issue with the reads and writes to ->last_tx_at in: conn->peer->last_tx_at = ktime_get_seconds(); and: keepalive_at = peer->last_tx_at + RXRPC_KEEPALIVE_TIME; The lockless accesses to these to values aren't actually a problem as the read only needs an approximate time of last transmission for the purposes of deciding whether or not the transmission of a keepalive packet is warranted yet. Also, as ->last_tx_at is a 64-bit value, tearing can occur on a 32-bit arch. Fix both of these by switching to an unsigned int for ->last_tx_at and only storing the LSW of the time64_t. It can then be reconstructed at need provided no more than 68 years has elapsed since the last transmission.2d

——0Dell AIOps Collector versions prior to 1.18.3 contain a "Use of Default Credentials" vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with console access could potentially exploit this vulnerability to gain Filesystem access. This vulnerability only affects fresh installations of Collector versions earlier than 1.18.3. Systems that have been upgraded (either manually or automatically) to version 1.18.3 or later are not impacted, even if they were originally installed on an earlier version.6d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netdevsim: fix a race issue related to the operation on bpf_bound_progs list The netdevsim driver lacks a protection mechanism for operations on the bpf_bound_progs list. When the nsim_bpf_create_prog() performs list_add_tail, it is possible that nsim_bpf_destroy_prog() is simultaneously performs list_del. Concurrent operations on the list may lead to list corruption and trigger a kernel crash as follows: [ 417.290971] kernel BUG at lib/list_debug.c:62!
