——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: digi_acceleport: fix hard lockup on disconnect If submitting the OOB write urb fails persistently (e.g if the device is being disconnected) the driver would loop indefinitely with interrupts disabled. Check for urb submission errors when sending OOB commands to avoid hanging if, for example, open(), set_termios() or close() races with a physical disconnect. This is issue was flagged by Sashiko when reviewing an unrelated change to the driver.59d

——0Improper initialization in the UEFI firmware for some Intel platforms within Ring 0: Bare Metal OS may allow an information disclosure. System software adversary with a privileged user combined with a high complexity attack may enable data exposure. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (none) and availability (none) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.18d

CVE-2026-111458—

——0The fanx_fingerprint function in ssl/sslxprint.c of ssldump allocates a heap buffer for formatting FAN/1 X.509 certificate fingerprints. The allocation size is computed as strlen(b64) + strlen(hex) + 31, but the format string "fan1:x509:server:passive:%s:sha256:%s" contains 33 fixed characters in addition to the two variable-length fields and a null terminator, requiring strlen(b64) + strlen(hex) + 34 bytes. This miscalculation results in a 3-byte heap-based buffer overflow on every invocation of the function with valid inputs. The overflow occurs because sprintf writes the full formatted string into the undersized heap buffer without bounds checking. An attacker who can supply a crafted pcap file containing a TLS X.509 certificate to a user running ssldump with FAN/1 fingerprinting enabled (for example with the -j -N options) can trigger the overflow. The resulting heap corruption may lead to denial of service through a crash or, in a worst-case scenario, arbitrary code execution in the context of the user running ssldump. The vulnerability is deterministic and requires no special privileges beyond the ability to provide input to the tool.16d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: fsl: qbman: fix race condition in qman_destroy_fq When QMAN_FQ_FLAG_DYNAMIC_FQID is set, there's a race condition between fq_table[fq->idx] state and freeing/allocating from the pool and WARN_ON(fq_table[fq->idx]) in qman_create_fq() gets triggered. Indeed, we can have: Thread A Thread B qman_destroy_fq() qman_create_fq() qman_release_fqid() qman_shutdown_fq() gen_pool_free() -- At this point, the fqid is available again -- qman_alloc_fqid() -- so, we can get the just-freed fqid in thread B -- fq->fqid = fqid; fq->idx = fqid * 2; WARN_ON(fq_table[fq->idx]); fq_table[fq->idx] = fq; fq_table[fq->idx] = NULL; And adding some logs between qman_release_fqid() and fq_table[fq->idx] = NULL makes the WARN_ON() trigger a lot more. To prevent that, ensure that fq_table[fq->idx] is set to NULL before gen_pool_free() is called by using smp_wmb().17d

——0Vim is an open source, command line text editor. From 9.2.0469 until 9.2.0843, popup_mark_opacity_zindex() in src/popupwin.c can use a negative w_winrow for a text-property-anchored popup with clipwindow and opacity, indexing before the screen array instead of accounting for w_popup_topoff and causing an out-of-bounds read and conditional write. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0843.26d
