When the default servlet in Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.11, 8.5.0 to 8.5.33 and 7.0.23 to 7.0.90 returned a redirect to a directory (e.g. redirecting to '/foo/' when the user requested '/foo') a specially crafted URL could be used to cause the redirect to be generated to any URI of the attackers choice.

CVE-2026-13395.4 MÉD—
——0An Open Redirect vulnerability has been identified in OpenText™ Universal Discovery and CMDB. The vulnerability can be exploited only if an attacker sends a specially crafted URL containing a link to a malicious resource and a user subsequently follows that link.
Affected systems:
This issue affects only the classic deployment options for UCMDB UI (ucmdb-browser) component within Universal Discovery and CMDB and Operations Bridge Manager. Containerized deployment options are not affected.12hCVE-2026-1030194.3 MÉD—
——0OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, userSessionLogout() in src/RestControllers/AuthorizationController.php uses decodeToken() to process an id_token_hint without verifying its signature and, when the referenced trusted session is absent, redirects to the caller-supplied post_logout_redirect_uri before validating it against the client's registered redirect URIs. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a logout link that sends a user to an arbitrary external site and invalidates the user's session, enabling convincing phishing flows from the legitimate logout endpoint. The endpoint is reachable when the OpenEMR REST API is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0.13hCVE-2026-1221326.1 MÉD19.2%
——6go-chi chi 5.2.2 through 5.5.0 contains an open redirect vulnerability in the RedirectSlashes middleware that allows attackers to redirect victims to external hosts by embedding tab characters in request paths. Attackers can craft links with a URL-encoded tab, which browsers strip from the 301 Location header and resolve as a protocol-relative URL, bypassing the fix for CVE-2025-69725.13hCVE-2026-1163763.4 BAI10.3%
——3IBM Db2 Genius Hub 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 1.1.5 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to conduct a phishing attack due to an open redirect vulnerability.1dCVE-2026-121373—41.7%
——13The Symfony HtmlSanitizer component MetaRefreshAttributeSanitizer, introduced to fix CVE-2026-48761, sanitizes the refresh URL of content attributes of meta tags using a regular expression that is too narrow, allowing sanitization to be bypassed, and resulting in potential URL redirection to untrusted sites in Symfony versions 6.1.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11.
The shared declarative refresh steps in the WHATWG HTML Standard require a broader approach: the separator after the time may be ASCII whitespace alone, with no ; or ,, and the url= keyword is optional. Directives the browser honours, but the regular expression misses are returned unchanged, so the attacker URL skips UrlSanitizer entirely and both allowLinkSchemes and allowLinkHosts are defeated for the refresh navigation.
This is reachable under any configuration that allows meta with http-equiv and content, including the documented allowStaticElements() preset.2dCVE-2026-120638—7.7%
——2CGI versions before 5.00 for Perl allow open redirects via HTML entity decoding of the URL after application validation in redirect.
redirect decodes HTML entities in its URL before writing the Location header, so a URL the application has already validated can change meaning. For example, //evil.example/ becomes //evil.example/ and sends the user to another host.2d
