Invocation of the NetApp ONTAP special agent with the login password in the command line in Checkmk version 2.5.0 before 2.5.0p16 allows a local user on the Checkmk server to read the NetApp login password from the process list while the special agent is running. This affects both explicitly configured passwords and passwords from the password store.

———Invocation of the Jolokia special agent with the login password in the command line in Checkmk versions 2.5.0 before 2.5.0p16 allows a local user on the Checkmk server to read the Jolokia login password from the process list while the special agent is running. This affects both explicitly configured passwords and passwords from the password store.9hCVE-2026-1217452.5 BAI2.0%
——1Node Version Manager (nvm) is a POSIX-compliant shell function for managing multiple node.js versions. In versions 0.40.0 through 0.40.8, when `NVM_AUTH_HEADER` is set, `nvm_download` passes the credential to curl or wget as a `--header "Authorization: ..."` command-line argument. Process arguments are visible to every local user (on Linux via `ps` or `/proc//cmdline` unless `/proc` is mounted with `hidepid=`; on macOS via `ps`), so another unprivileged account on the same machine can read the token while nvm is downloading during `nvm ls-remote`, `nvm install`, and similar commands, and gain whatever access it grants on the private mirror. Only users who set `NVM_AUTH_HEADER` on a host shared with other local accounts are affected. Version 0.41.0 passes the header to curl on stdin and to GNU Wget in a private temporary config file. BusyBox wget reads no config file, so when it is the only downloader available the header is still passed as an argument.2dCVE-2026-1162466.5 MÉD8.8%
——3To pass a server's password to psql and to the utilities pgAdmin 4 runs as background processes, the server manager wrote it into pgAdmin's own process environment: as PGPASSWORD for the PSQL tool, and under a per-process variable for a utility. Nothing removed it afterwards. pgAdmin's environment is shared by every user's requests and copied into every process it starts, so in server mode another user's later PSQL session or utility inherited the password, and libpq used PGPASSWORD for any connection made without a password of its own, letting one user connect with another user's saved password.
The fix puts the password only into the environment built for the process that needs it and starts psql with a copy of pgAdmin's environment instead of the environment itself.
This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19.2dCVE-2026-1191176.5 MÉD4.3%
——1Insertion of sensitive information into a log file in Amazon Kinesis Producer Library for Java before 1.0.8, when the library's logger is configured at DEBUG log level, might allow local users to obtain the AWS credentials that the library resolved for the application. Separately, affected versions of the library pass these credentials to the native child process as command-line arguments, where a local user can read them from the process argument list.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.0.8 or later, rotate any long-term IAM user keys, revoke active role sessions where needed, and restrict or redact log data written by an affected version. 0.x users should migrate to software.amazon.kinesis:amazon-kinesis-producer 1.0.8 or later.7dCVE-2026-921716.5 MÉD22.1%
——7A flaw was found in the Infinispan Operator for Red Hat Data Grid. When cross-site (xsite) TLS is enabled, the operator launches the Gossip Router container with keystore and truststore passwords passed as plain-text command-line arguments (`-tls_keystore_password`, `-tls_truststore_password`). Container args are stored in the Pod spec and visible to any principal with `get pods` permission in the namespace (no `get secrets` required), to node-level processes via `/proc/<pid>/cmdline`, and frequently captured in audit/event logs.4dCVE-2026-1134965.0 MÉD3.6%
——1A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. When saving Virtual Network Computing (VNC) console settings, the configured password is passed directly as a command-line argument to an underlying system utility. A local unprivileged attacker on a host that allows cross-user process inspection could read the exposed password from the process list while another user modifies settings. This credential disclosure can allow unauthorized access to the guest virtual machine's graphical console.1d
