Descrição técnica

Protection Mechanism Failure vulnerability in hexpm hex allows the owner of a package, or an attacker who has taken over the owner's account, to get a newly published release past the release-age cooldown. The cooldown (cooldown config, HEX_COOLDOWN) withholds versions younger than the configured age during dependency resolution. When the release of a package locked in mix.lock is retired or has a security advisory, Hex.RemoteConverger.build_cooldown_bypass/3 and Hex.RemoteConverger.unsafe_lock_bypass/1 lift the cooldown for every version of that package and of every package the locked release depends on, so that mix deps.update can move off the unsafe release. Retiring a release needs the same package owner permission as publishing one. An attacker who publishes a malicious release can retire the currently locked release, and the next mix deps.update that unlocks the package selects the new release regardless of its age. Hex.Registry.Cooldown.versions/2 checks the bypass by package name alone, so the bypass also covers packages with the same name in other repositories. Cooldown configured through an organization dependency policy is not affected. This issue affects hex: from 2.5.0 before 2.5.2.

——0There was a regression in how FIPS algorithms were enforced for the hashlib module. Only users that are using OpenSSL in FIPS mode are affected. Only Python 3.14.10 is affected, all other Python versions are unaffected.8h

——2A flaw was found in the training-operator. An incorrect object casting in the PyTorchJob ValidateUpdate webhook allows users to bypass an immutability check. This vulnerability could enable users to detach a queued job from its quota management system or hijack a running job's controller ownership. The primary impact is a Denial of Service (DoS) condition.19h

——4Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in Apache Sling Engine. Content-Type, charset, and redirect changes from an included component evade the  protectheaders / checkcontenttype  enforcement through setHeader(), repeated calls to setContentType(), the charset APIs, Servlet 6.1 redirect overloads, and stale config - enabling stored XSS despite enabled protections. This issue affects Apache Sling Engine before 3.0.4. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.0.4, which fixes the issue.1d

——1[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] A common access pattern is a batch of Grant Copy operations acting on adjacent address ranges in the same source or destination page. For performance reasons, Xen caches details internally to reuse already validated data. The conditions on when to re-validate the internal data were not correct in some cases: - Frame numbers and grant references could wrongly be mixed up. This is CVE-2026-102703. - Copying by frame number (rather than grant reference) is permitted only when operating on the caller's own memory. The check to enforce this restriction was misplaced. This is CVE-2026-102704.7h
