Descrição técnica

The Mechanize library is used for automating interaction with websites. Prior to 2.14.1, Mechanize::HTTP::Agent#response_redirect treats redirects as same-origin when the host matches without consistently comparing scheme and port. A same-host HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect can send Authorization and Cookie headers over cleartext, while a same-host redirect to another port can send a caller-supplied Cookie header to a different service. Cookies in Mechanize#cookie_jar remain scoped separately; the issue affects caller-supplied headers and can disclose credentials without affecting integrity or availability. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.1.

———BTCPay Server before 2.4.2, including 2.4.2 release candidates, contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to retrieve .macaroon credential files for an LND (Lightning Network Daemon) node. Attackers can use the exposed macaroon to gain full control of the LND node, including moving funds, resulting in theft of funds from affected deployments.16h

———The Model Context Protocol TypeScript SDK provides TypeScript client and server implementations of the Model Context Protocol. Prior to 1.32.0 in @modelcontextprotocol/sdk and from 2.0.0 until 2.3.0 in @modelcontextprotocol/client, the HTTP client transports and OAuth client requests followed redirects to a different origin while retaining custom request headers and, for HTTP 307 or 308 responses, request bodies. The affected surfaces are StreamableHTTPClientTransport, SSEClientTransport, and OAuth client functions such as auth(). The trigger is an HTTP redirect to another origin. Custom headers and mcp-session-id can be re-sent to the redirected origin. HTTP 307 and 308 redirects can also re-send the request body. OAuth request bodies can contain refresh_token and client_secret values. Current runtimes already strip the Authorization header across origins. stdio clients do not use the affected HTTP path. A malicious or compromised MCP or authorization server could therefore receive API keys, session identifiers, OAuth refresh tokens, or OAuth client secrets. Restoring unrestricted redirect following after upgrading restores the exposure. This issue is fixed in @modelcontextprotocol/sdk 1.32.0 and @modelcontextprotocol/client 2.3.0.16h

——0OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.2.0, interface/modules/custom_modules/oe-module-faxsms/src/Controller/SignalWireClient.php decrypts a selected patient document with Document::get_data() and SignalWireClient::uploadFileForFax() writes the plaintext bytes under sites/{siteId}/fax. The module returns the resulting public URL to SignalWire, protects it only with a predictable uniqid() filename, and never removes the staged file. An unauthenticated network actor who obtains or guesses the URL can retrieve persistent patient documents even when drive encryption is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 8.2.0.18h

——0FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to 1.11.2, switch_event_expand_headers_check() advanced beyond its heap copy when a positive offset in ${variable:offset} exceeded the variable value's length. The following length calculation and copy appended adjacent heap memory to the expansion result, potentially exposing channel variables, credentials, allocator data, and pointer bytes. The flaw is reachable through configuration templates that slice remote input and through authenticated Event Socket eval or Event Socket expand commands; the separate channel-variable expander used by ordinary dialplan slicing is unaffected. The requester cannot choose adjacent memory and disclosure stops at a zero byte, but repeated expansion can influence the layout. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.2.16h

——0OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. From 6.0.0 until 8.3.0, interface/globals.php uses the unauthenticated authUser login parameter to populate temp_authuserid and load that account's user_settings before authentication succeeds. Existing usernames can therefore cause an additional database query and may apply visible customized settings, while nonexistent usernames skip that behavior. A remote unauthenticated actor can use timing or page differences to enumerate valid accounts for later credential attacks. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0.18h

——0OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, the webroot admin.php multisite administration page is enabled without an authentication check, reads database configuration from sqlconf.php, and connects to each configured site database. An unauthenticated network actor can obtain site identifiers, database names, site names, exact OpenEMR versions and patch levels, pending upgrade status, and direct login and patient-portal links. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0.18h
