Descrição técnica

The html_to_markdown expansion module in MISP Modules contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in its is_safe_url() URL validation function. The BLOCKED_RANGES list used to reject unsafe destination addresses was incomplete, omitting several critical IP address ranges. Specifically, the following ranges were not blocked: 0.0.0.0/8 (unspecified, which routes to loopback on Linux), 100.64.0.0/10 (carrier-grade NAT per RFC 6598), ::/128 (IPv6 unspecified), fc00::/7 (IPv6 Unique Local Addresses), and fe80::/10 (IPv6 link-local). The existing list only covered IPv4 loopback (127.0.0.0/8), RFC 1918 private ranges, IPv4 link-local (169.254.0.0/16), and IPv6 loopback (::1/128). An authenticated user with the ability to create or modify MISP attributes that trigger the html_to_markdown expansion module could supply URLs pointing to these unblocked internal address ranges. Because the module fetches the URL server-side to convert HTML content to Markdown, the request is made from the MISP server's network context. This allows an attacker to probe and read responses from internal services, carrier-grade NAT infrastructure, or link-local endpoints that would otherwise be unreachable from external networks. IPv4-mapped IPv6 forms (e.g., [::ffff:0.0.0.0]) also bypassed the existing checks. The security impact is primarily confidentiality: an attacker can read data served by internal services reachable from the MISP server. The MISP instance itself is not compromised, but it is abused as a proxy to access otherwise restricted network resources.

CVE-2026-1236135.3 MÉD
—
———Rustls from 0.23.13 before 0.23.45 accepts TLS 1.3 handshake messages at the wrong encryption level when they follow a key-changing message in the same record, because Deframer::aligned does not enforce RFC 8446 record-boundary alignment. A peer or on-path attacker can pack a plaintext EncryptedExtensions with the ServerHello, which rustls accepts unencrypted.8h
CVE-2026-1235747.5 ALT
—
———The zone file parser in the hickory-proto crate of Hickory DNS 0.24.0 before 0.26.2 panics when a single token in a zone file is 4096 bytes or longer. Attackers who can supply untrusted zone files to an application using the parser can trigger the panic to cause a denial of service.8h

—
———hickory-dns from 0.20.1 before 0.26.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the hickory-proto SVCB and HTTPS record presentation format parser. Attackers can supply untrusted zone files where only a single or double quote replaces a service parameter value, triggering a panic that crashes the parsing process.8h
CVE-2026-1235526.5 MÉD

———OpenAM before 16.1.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in certificate CRL checking that fetches CRLs from the distribution point named in a presented certificate without restricting the destination or verifying the downloaded CRL's signature. Attackers holding a trusted-CA-chained certificate can make OpenAM request internal hosts, capture configured CRL update credentials, overwrite stored revocation data to block certificate authentication for that CA, and tie up authentication threads.8h
CVE-2026-1235375.0 MÉD
—
———OpenAM before 16.1.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows parties registering UMA resource sets to trigger internal requests through unvalidated scope description URLs. Attackers can register resource sets with scope URLs pointing to internal hosts or cloud metadata endpoints, which OpenAM fetches when sending pending-request notification emails, enabling internal network probing.8h

———OpenAM before 16.1.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows administrators, including delegated realm administrators, to make the server fetch arbitrary URLs through federation configuration wizard metadata URLs. Attackers can enter metadata or OpenID Connect discovery URLs pointing to internal hosts or cloud metadata endpoints to probe the internal network and read partial responses.8h
