Descrição técnica

virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, PipInstall._uninstall_previous_version() accepts existing seed-package metadata and _uninstall_dist() joins entries from top_level.txt and RECORD to site-packages without checking containment. When a reused destination contains distribution metadata influenced by another account, relative traversal, absolute entries, or linked parents can cause app-data reseeding to delete files outside the environment or the environment root with the invoking user's permissions, provided that user has deletion rights over the named paths. The deletion occurs during environment creation before any later use of the environment. Fresh environments without existing package metadata and creation with --clear do not enter this cleanup path. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9.

CVE-2026-1235346.5 MÉD

———Tornado before 6.6 contains a path traversal vulnerability in RequestHandler.static_url() and get_version() that allows attackers to hash files outside static_path using ../ sequences. Attackers controlling input passed to static_url() can obtain SHA-512 hashes of readable files to confirm their existence, or reference /dev/zero to block the event loop indefinitely.8h

——0The Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the stm_listings_ajax_save_user_data function in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.125 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). Although deletion is bounded to wp-content/uploads (preventing removal of wp-config.php), any authenticated Subscriber can trivially exploit this because the required AJAX nonce is printed on every front-end page and the handler's stm_user_avatar_path meta is writable by any logged-in user against their own account.15h

——18The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the theme_delete function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This exploit chain is reachable only on sites where an administrator has created a custom wpForo secondary usergroup with a blank WordPress role and the 'mth' (Manage Themes) capability; on such sites, an attacker can self-register and claim that group via the unguarded wpforo_secondary_groupids[] POST field, bypassing the role-based group filter and gaining theme-management access as a Subscriber.1d

——16The Vanquish Upload Files for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.13 via the 'vanupfi_file_name' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The authorization bypass is achieved by supplying a non-existent order ID (e.g., '.pdf'), which causes wc_get_order() to return false and short-circuits the vanupfi_user_can_access_order_files() check, while the is_pdf() branch selector's loose strpos() substring match allows a traversal payload such as '../.pdf/../../../../wp-config.php' to satisfy the PDF branch and be streamed verbatim via readfile().1d

——14IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to a path traversal vulnerability.1d

——13IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to access sensitive information belonging to other tenants due to improper validation of a path parameter. A path value in a request is not sufficiently validated, which could allow a user to reach data outside their own tenant.1d
