Descrição técnica

Flexible GraphRAG is a Python framework for building graph and retrieval-augmented generation applications across multiple graph, vector, and search backends. From 0.6.0 until 0.8.2, the _escape() helper in flexible-graphrag/langchain/graph/pg_store_adapters/falkordb_adapter.py escapes quotes before backslashes and then interpolates the result into Cypher assembled by FalkorDBAdapter.add_graph_documents, allowing an inserted escape to be doubled and a quote to terminate the string early. When GRAPH_BACKEND=langchain and GRAPH_DB=falkordb are configured, attacker-influenced ingested document content can cause the extraction model to produce malicious entity or relationship values that reach these queries, allowing injected Cypher clauses to modify or delete graph data and, when the calling code surfaces query results to the user or LLM, disclose graph data. Dynamic node and relationship type identifiers are also inserted into backtick-quoted query positions without safe parameterization. The LlamaIndex FalkorDB store is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2.

———OpenAM before 16.1.4 contains an incomplete output encoding vulnerability that allows a SAML 1.x identity provider to alter attribute values by injecting unencoded content into the service provider auto-submitted form. Attackers controlling a trusted identity provider can craft assertion attribute names or values that reach the target application in modified form, undermining the integrity of received attributes.13h

——7A vulnerability was detected in OpenBMB Internet of Agents up to 9d78e88e47160eb42ee1ee8538c05e1c2c47877a. This affects the function _primary_field_query of the file common/utils/milvus_utils.py of the component Agent Registry. The manipulation of the argument key results in improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. This product operates on a rolling release basis, ensuring continuous delivery. Consequently, there are no version details for either affected or updated releases. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.2d

——12Urwid is a console user interface library for Python. Prior to 4.0.7, handle_short_request() in urwid/display/web.py performs unguarded character encoding on POST input and unguarded UTF-8 decoding on polling update socket output. A remote attacker who obtains a valid X-Urwid-ID session token can submit non-ASCII POST data that raises UnicodeEncodeError, while non-UTF-8 polling output raises UnicodeDecodeError, causing the CGI handler to return an error and terminate request processing. The POST exception path also leaves an opened file descriptor unclosed for the CGI process lifetime, so repeated requests can cause denial of service for the web display interface. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.7.2d

——7Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.3, a date-typed MongoDB variable placed inside a quoted query placeholder was inserted as an unescaped string, unlike the safely escaped or coerced string, number, and Boolean branches. The vulnerable surface is mongoDB-backed public, shareable, or embedded charts processed by date-variable substitution. An unauthenticated user supplies a crafted URL filter to a public, shareable, or embedded MongoDB chart whose query places a date-typed variable in a quoted literal. The crafted date value breaks out of the quoted literal and changes query logic; the chart's returned row count becomes a Boolean oracle for character-by-character field extraction. The chart must be externally reachable and use the vulnerable date-in-quoted-placeholder branch. Extraction is read-only and limited to one queried collection per request, and it requires neither an account nor a known field value. The blind oracle can disclose any field in the queried collection, including secrets the chart does not display. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.3.2d

——11JupyterLab Desktop is the cross-platform desktop application for JupyterLab. Prior to 4.6.2-1, remote-server URLs were inserted into the server-selection dialog and Welcome view without safe encoding. An attacker who convinces a user to submit a crafted URL can execute JavaScript in the Welcome renderer and abuse its privileged IPC bridge to execute arbitrary code with the user’s privileges. The Welcome view also unsafely renders RSS news-feed titles; exploitation through this separate input path requires control over content delivered through the application’s Jupyter Blog feed or its cached feed data, rather than submission of a remote-server URL. This issue affects all supported platforms and is fixed in version 4.6.2-1.2d

——10Openwhyd before 1.65.1 contains a NoSQL injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate user lookups by passing JSON objects in the id parameter. Attackers can send MongoDB query operators such as $ne or $gt to POST /api/user to select and enumerate other users' public profile records.2d
