Descrição técnica

Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to 1.9.0, Authlib's RFC 9101 JWTAuthenticationRequest passes the unauthenticated, client-controlled request_uri parameter to the abstract get_request_object() hook before applying a destination or registration policy; the hook itself performs no network request, while the documentation demonstrates an unrestricted HTTP fetch. In deployments whose integrator implements that hook as an unrestricted outbound fetch, a remote attacker who knows a valid public client identifier can make the authorization server request internal, link-local, or otherwise unintended URLs and can distinguish fetch outcomes through different error responses and timing. Deployments whose custom hook already applies a secure allowlist, destination controls, and retrieval limits are not affected. The JWTAuthenticationRequest implementation in authlib/oauth2/rfc9101/authorization_server.py forwards request_uri to get_request_object() before an application-approved retrieval policy accepts the destination. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0.

CVE-2026-1244667.2 ALT
—
———OpenEMR before 8.4.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to make the server send HTTP requests by registering an OAuth2 client with an unvalidated jwks_uri. Attackers can trigger the fetch via the token introspection endpoint with an unsigned client_assertion to probe internal services and reach cloud metadata endpoints.2h
CVE-2026-1244426.5 MÉD
—
———AzuraCast before 0.24.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows users with station WebHooks permission to bypass the UserUrlFilter SSRF guard through HTTP redirects. Attackers can configure Mastodon, Telegram, GroupMe, or RadioReg webhooks pointing to a redirecting URL, causing the Guzzle client to reach internal services and expose responses via test logs.2h
CVE-2026-1235526.5 MÉD
—
———OpenAM before 16.1.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in certificate CRL checking that fetches CRLs from the distribution point named in a presented certificate without restricting the destination or verifying the downloaded CRL's signature. Attackers holding a trusted-CA-chained certificate can make OpenAM request internal hosts, capture configured CRL update credentials, overwrite stored revocation data to block certificate authentication for that CA, and tie up authentication threads.14h
CVE-2026-1235375.0 MÉD
—
———OpenAM before 16.1.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows parties registering UMA resource sets to trigger internal requests through unvalidated scope description URLs. Attackers can register resource sets with scope URLs pointing to internal hosts or cloud metadata endpoints, which OpenAM fetches when sending pending-request notification emails, enabling internal network probing.14h
CVE-2026-1235364.1 MÉD
—
———OpenAM before 16.1.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows administrators, including delegated realm administrators, to make the server fetch arbitrary URLs through federation configuration wizard metadata URLs. Attackers can enter metadata or OpenID Connect discovery URLs pointing to internal hosts or cloud metadata endpoints to probe the internal network and read partial responses.14h

——9IBM API Connect 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote attacker to access internal network resources and obtain sensitive information due to server-side request forgery. A protection that blocks requests to internal addresses can be bypassed, so the server could be made to contact internal services and return part of their responses.1d
