Descrição técnica

Psono Server versions 5.3.5 through 7.2.3 used a permission class that did not enforce token write scope when claiming a device code. An authenticated remote attacker holding a restricted API key-derived session could claim an attacker-controlled device code and obtain a full read-write session valid for up to 365 days, bypassing the original token's scope and lifetime restrictions. This did not bypass two-factor authentication or directly disclose plaintext secrets.

CVE-2026-1235499.8 CRÍ
—
———OpenAM before 16.1.4 fails to enforce the Valid Creation Attributes list during self-registration, allowing anonymous attackers to set restricted attributes including group membership. Attackers can register through the legacy self-service REST endpoint or User Self-Service flow to join administrative groups and gain full administrative control of OpenAM.12h

———Vikunja from 0.18.0 before 2.7.1 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows team owners to gain admin or ownership of read-only shared projects by deleting accounts. Attackers can create a bot, add it to their team, and delete it through the bots endpoint, triggering ensureProjectAdminUser to promote read-only shares and lock out the real owner.12h

——0The Registration Form for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation due to a missing allow-list check in the FormHandler::validate_checkout_fields() function in versions up to, and including, 1.1.4 The My Account registration path (validate_fields()) validates a submitted 'tgwcfb/user-roles' value against the form's configured allowed roles, but the checkout registration path (validate_checkout_fields(), hooked to woocommerce_after_checkout_validation) stores the raw $_POST['user_roles'] value in $this->valid_data without any allow-list enforcement, and add_user_data() then injects that value into woocommerce_new_customer_data as the new account's role. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to Administrator by supplying a user_roles=administrator parameter when creating an account during checkout, resulting in full site takeover.19h

——0The AutomatorWP – No-Code Workflow Automation, Integration & Webhooks Plugin, now with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.4. This is due to missing privilege-ceiling validation in the `create_user()` function within the anonymous-user action (and equally in the Create User and Add/Change Role WordPress-integration actions), which verify only that the submitted role exists via `automatorwp_get_editable_roles()` without confirming the role falls at or below the acting context's privilege level — allowing attacker-controlled trigger tag data (e.g., a `{comment_author}` tag bound to the Role option) to supply any role, including `administrator`, unchallenged. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create a new administrator-role account tied to an attacker-controlled email address, receiving the generated password via WordPress's new-user notification email and thereby gaining full administrative access to the site. Exploitation requires the site to have an anonymous automation configured with the Role option bound to a dynamic trigger tag such as `{comment_author}`, and is triggered when a site administrator performs the routine action of approving a comment — an action that provides no in-UI indication that it will mint a new privileged account from the comment author field.13h

——13The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 via the `data[secondary_groupids]` parameter of the `wpforo_action_profile_update` POST handler. This is due to a type-confusion flaw in the secondary_groupids authorization guard within the `Members::update()` function in `classes/Members.php`, where casting a scalar CSV string (e.g. `"0,1"`) with `(array)` before `array_map('intval', …)` and `array_filter()` produces an empty array — causing the guard's outer conditional, and the else-branch that would otherwise strip the field from the update, to be bypassed entirely — while `encode()`/`decode()` downstream correctly explodes the original CSV and persists the attacker-supplied group IDs to `wp_wpforo_profiles.secondary_groupids`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to escalate their forum privileges to wpForo Administrator by injecting the privileged Admin group ID, granting access to the Forum Accesses editor and the ability to rewrite forum-wide capability policies for all members and edit arbitrary content owned by other users. Exploitation requires the attacker to have at least 3 approved wpForo posts to satisfy the plugin's default `min_number_posts_to_edit_account` antispam gate, along with a valid wpforo nonce obtained from their own account profile form.1d

——14The WPJAM Basic plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 7.1 This is due to the WPJAM_User_Signup::signup() function unpacking attacker-supplied `data[args]` from the AJAX POST body and merging it via PHP array union into the payload passed to WPJAM_User::create(), whose internal whitelist (wpjam_pick) explicitly preserves the `role` key before it is handed to wp_insert_user(). The endpoint is registered as wp_ajax_nopriv_{provider}-signup with a nonce that is emitted on the public login page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to Administrator by creating a new user with an attacker-chosen role, provided a social-login provider is registered and open registration is enabled.1d
