Descrição técnica

odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. In commit cfddd56 and earlier, an unauthenticated host on the same link can first obtain two bindings through normal DHCPv6 SOLICIT and REQUEST exchanges and then send a crafted RENEW containing multiple IA_NA options. An earlier matched IA consumes most of the response buffer, an unmatched IA causes the build_ia() status branch to write and return a NOBINDING response larger than the remaining space, and a subsequent matched IA is processed after dhcpv6_ia_handle_IAs() subtracts that over-return from an unsigned size_t. The resulting underflow disables subsequent length checks and permits attacker-controlled IA_ADDR serialization beyond the 512-byte stack buffer pdbuf in handle_client_request(). The stack canary terminates odhcpd, and sustained packets can repeatedly disrupt DHCPv6 service while procd respawns the process. The observed configuration does not establish code execution.

——0A pre-authentication stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the SonicOS TACACS+ authentication client, which in specific conditions could potentially enable a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause an application level denial of service.6h
CVE-2026-80303—

——0An integer underflow vulnerability in the Avast Windows Filtering Platform (WFP) stream parser on Windows allows denial of service by causing a system crash. The WFP callout driver processes network stream data and computes length values for packet fragment reassembly. The length calculation does not properly validate input stream sizes against expected boundaries. When processing specially crafted input, the length computation underflows, resulting in allocation or buffer access with an extremely large wrapped-around size value. The underflow can be triggered remotely via network traffic destined for the filtered port, or locally via crafted data provided to the filtering interface. The resulting memory allocation failure or out-of-bounds access causes a kernel panic and system crash.11h

——0Wazuh agent from 1.0.0 before 4.14.9 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in the logcollector snort-full log reader that miscalculates remaining buffer space in read_snortfull(). Attackers who write crafted multi-line content to a monitored snort-full log can overflow the 65,280-byte stack buffer, crashing the agent or overwriting an SEH handler on 32-bit Windows agents running as SYSTEM.7h

——11FreeSWITCH is an open-source software telecommunications platform. Before version 1.11.2, an integer underflow in  switch_xml_decode()  can cause an undersized heap allocation when an XML document declares an entity with an empty replacement value. Subsequent copying overruns the allocated buffer. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach a SIP profile with presence management enabled and DTD processing permitted can trigger the vulnerability through a crafted SIP PUBLISH request. Exploitation can corrupt heap memory and terminate the FreeSWITCH process, interrupting all active calls. This vulnerability is fixed in version 1.11.2.1d

——12FreeSWITCH is an open-source software telecommunications platform. From 1.10.0 to 1.11.1, there is a stack-based buffer overflow in  mod_sofia  when processing SIP Contact display names for dialog-event notifications. A peer can establish a dialog containing an excessively long display name and subsequently subscribe to that entity’s dialog events, causing the stored value to overflow a fixed 512-byte stack buffer. Exploitation requires presence management to be enabled, directly or through shared appearance, and normally requires valid profile credentials unless subscription authentication is disabled. The overflow can terminate the FreeSWITCH process and all active calls. This vulnerability is fixed in version 1.11.2.1d

——9FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to 1.11.2, rtmp_rtp2rtmpH264() built an AVC decoder configuration record in a fixed stack buffer by copying wire-derived SPS and PPS values without checking that their sizes and framing fit. An established H.264 call bridged toward an RTMP endpoint could supply oversized SPS and PPS parameter sets and overrun the function's stack frame. The flaw affects only deployments that build and load mod_rtmp and bridge RTP media into an RTMP leg; the module is disabled in the stock build and configuration. The corruption can abort FreeSWITCH and terminate every active call, and builds without stack protection receive a limited stack-write primitive, although code execution has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.2.1d
