Descrição técnica

Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, an authenticated attacker may crash Asterisk through a buffer over-read in the `PJSIP MWI body parser` by sending a carefully crafted `SIP NOTIFY` request. The attacker must pass SIP authentication using either a username/password or `source IP address matching`. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3.

——28Irontec sngrep through 1.9.0 contains an out-of-bounds stack read vulnerability in sip_check_packet and sip_validate_packet caused by an off-by-one length check on 10240-byte SIP payloads. Remote attackers can send a crafted UDP or TCP SIP packet or supply a pcap file to crash sngrep or leak adjacent stack bytes into displayed SIP fields.2d

——2A buffer overread in CheckKeySyms() in X.Org X Server before 21.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to leak small amounts of information from X server memory or potentially crash the X server.8d

——12odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. In versions 25.12 and prior, odhcpd's DHCPv6 self-loop detection at dhcpv6.c:720 uses a network-byte-order DUID length value directly as the memcmp() size parameter. On little-endian hosts, this causes memcmp() to read far beyond the stack buffer — a single unauthenticated DHCPv6 packet triggers a 2560-byte overread from a 128-byte buffer. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.8d

——10odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. From version 17.01.0 to before version 25.12.3, odhcpd's DHCPv6 IA parser accepts an IA_NA or IA_PD option whose body is shorter than struct dhcpv6_ia_hdr, casts the option header to that full structure, and reads ia->iaid before proving that the IA body contains the IAID field. If an unauthenticated network-adjacent client places a zero-length or otherwise short IA option at the end of odhcpd's 8192-byte receive stack buffer, the IAID read crosses from data_buf into adjacent stack memory. The disclosed bytes are then reflected in the DHCPv6 reply IAID; prior ARM validation showed data_buf[8192:8196] disclosing the saved stack canary, and wider stack scans can leak ASLR-useful stack/process contents. This issue has been patched in version 25.12.3.14d

——9A flaw was found in mod_qos. An unauthenticated remote attacker could cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a specially crafted JSON request when JSON body filtering is enabled. Due to improper string termination during the processing of percent-encoded input, the module reads past allocated memory boundaries, which can cause an Apache worker process to crash.11d

——16When curl is built with GnuTLS, a malicious WebSocket server can make curl send memory past its send buffer. This is due to an out of bounds read following when `gnutls_record_send()` returns a number of bytes sent **greater than the number of bytes it was given to send**. GnuTLS does that after a blocked send.7d
