Descrição técnica

SOCFortress CoPilot focuses on providing a single pane of glass for all your security operations needs. Prior to 0.1.77, `POST /api/scoutsuite/generate-gcp-report` in `backend/app/integrations/scoutsuite/routes/scoutsuite.py` admits admin and analyst users and validates the uploaded content as `GCPScoutSuiteJSON`, but passes raw `file.filename` from the multipart header to `save_file_to_directory` in `backend/app/integrations/scoutsuite/services/scoutsuite.py`. The writer combines this filename with `scoutsuite-report` using `os.path.join` without sanitization or a resolved-path containment check. A traversal filename therefore writes the supplied JSON outside the intended report directory. In the reported root-running backend, the researcher demonstrated root-owned writes outside that directory and into the application source directory. This permits host-file overwrite subject to the accepted JSON-content constraint and can disrupt application operation; the demonstrated primitive does not establish unrestricted executable contents or unconditional cross-tenant confidentiality loss. Version 0.1.77 removes caller-controlled filenames from the affected route; unrestricted-content and direct-code-execution claims require separate curator reconciliation.

———Tornado before 6.6 contains a path traversal vulnerability in RequestHandler.static_url() and get_version() that allows attackers to hash files outside static_path using ../ sequences. Attackers controlling input passed to static_url() can obtain SHA-512 hashes of readable files to confirm their existence, or reference /dev/zero to block the event loop indefinitely.7h

——0A vulnerability was detected in DataEase up to 2.10.27. Affected by this vulnerability is the function WhitelistUtils.endsWithAny of the file WhitelistUtils.java of the component Authentication Filter. Performing a manipulation of the argument File results in unrestricted upload. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. Upgrading to version 2.10.28 addresses this issue. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. The vendor confirms: "This issue has been addressed by enforcing authentication on the standalone static-resource upload endpoint independently of the URI suffix whitelist."16h

——0The Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the stm_listings_ajax_save_user_data function in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.125 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). Although deletion is bounded to wp-content/uploads (preventing removal of wp-config.php), any authenticated Subscriber can trivially exploit this because the required AJAX nonce is printed on every front-end page and the handler's stm_user_avatar_path meta is writable by any logged-in user against their own account.14h

——18The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the theme_delete function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This exploit chain is reachable only on sites where an administrator has created a custom wpForo secondary usergroup with a blank WordPress role and the 'mth' (Manage Themes) capability; on such sites, an attacker can self-register and claim that group via the unguarded wpforo_secondary_groupids[] POST field, bypassing the role-based group filter and gaining theme-management access as a Subscriber.23h

——16The Vanquish Upload Files for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.13 via the 'vanupfi_file_name' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The authorization bypass is achieved by supplying a non-existent order ID (e.g., '.pdf'), which causes wc_get_order() to return false and short-circuits the vanupfi_user_can_access_order_files() check, while the is_pdf() branch selector's loose strpos() substring match allows a traversal payload such as '../.pdf/../../../../wp-config.php' to satisfy the PDF branch and be streamed verbatim via readfile().1d

——1The Tournamatch WordPress plugin before 4.7.1 does not validate or restrict the path of a previously stored profile or team image before deleting it when a new image is uploaded, allowing users with a role as low as Subscriber to delete arbitrary files on the server, such as wp-config.php, which can lead to a full site takeover.14h
