Descrição técnica

The CC1200 sub-GHz IEEE 802.15.4 driver takes the PHY packet length from the first byte of the radio's RX FIFO in get_packet_length() and validates it in verify_rxfifo_validity() (drivers/ieee802154/ieee802154_cc1200.c). That validation only enforced a lower bound (pkt_len < 3); its second clause rejects a FIFO that holds more bytes than declared and therefore never bounds large values. Because the driver configures the radio for variable packet length with PKT_LEN = 0xFF, the length byte is an over-the-air value of 0-255 that reached net_pkt_rx_alloc_with_buffer() and the subsequent SPI burst read unclamped. An unauthenticated attacker within radio range can transmit a frame that presents a length byte above the IEEE 802.15.4 maximum of 127 while the chip's 128-byte RX FIFO has not overflowed, so the driver's RX_FIFO_ERROR pre-check does not fire. Reaching this state depends on RF framing and timing, since the RX thread is driven off the PKT_SYNC_RXTX signal and may sample the FIFO before a packet is complete; no pairing, authentication, or user interaction is required. With the default CONFIG_NET_BUF_FIXED_DATA_SIZE and CONFIG_NET_BUF_DATA_SIZE=128, an allocation larger than one fragment is satisfied by a chain of fragments, but read_rxfifo_content() performs a single SPI burst of pkt_len bytes into the first fragment's buf->data and then calls net_buf_add() with the same length. A length above 128 therefore writes up to 127 bytes past the end of a fragment in the contiguous rx_bufs pool and leaves a net_buf whose len exceeds its capacity. The overflowing bytes are FIFO-underflow output rather than attacker-chosen data, so the practical impact is network-buffer-pool corruption and crashes rather than a controlled write. Only builds that enable CONFIG_IEEE802154_CC1200 with an attached CC1200 radio are affected.

CVE-2026-104267—

———Botan is a C++ cryptography library. From 2.7.0 until 3.13.0, Botan's Scrypt implementation on 32-bit platforms computes required memory with unchecked multiplication, allowing attacker-controlled Scrypt parameters to wrap the allocation size and create a buffer smaller than the algorithm subsequently writes. The issue affects systems that enable Scrypt and accept arbitrary parameters from a hostile source, including applications that decrypt attacker-supplied encrypted private keys. A triggering parameter set can cause approximately four gigabytes of Scrypt output to be written past the allocated heap buffer, immediately crashing the process and causing denial of service. Arbitrary code execution is not demonstrated and appears difficult, but cannot be excluded from the overwrite primitive. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.0.11h

——0EDFbrowser before 2.16 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in check_edf_file() that allows attackers to overflow the 256-element annot_ch array by supplying excessive annotation signals. Attackers can craft an EDF+ or BDF+ file with more than 256 annotation signals to overwrite edfhdrblock members, including the signal parameter pointer, crashing the application when opened.15h

——0Wazuh from 1.0.0 before 4.14.9 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in wazuh-execd that allows privileged manager-configuration attackers to corrupt root process memory via excess ar.conf entries. Attackers controlling ossec.conf active-response blocks can push over 64 commands to agents, overflowing ReadExecConfig() arrays and crashing Active Response fleet-wide.13h

——4In the Wi-Fi NPU FW, there is a possible out-of-bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local denial of service with user execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.20h

——1LibreOffice includes a dBASE database driver, which reads dBASE tables and their .ndx index files when a folder of dBASE files is used as a data source. A heap buffer overflow existed when an index page was read. The number of entries recorded in a page was not checked against the number of entries the page could hold, which comes from a different field of the index header. A crafted index could also make a page refer back to itself, so that reading it recursed without end. In fixed versions the index header and the entry count of each page are limited to what an index page can hold, and a page that refers back to one of its parent pages is not followed.2d

——19FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to 1.11.2, ws_read_frame() decoded a WebSocket frame's 64-bit extended payload length with a 32-bit byte swap and narrowed the result into a signed length. A value whose surviving low word became negative bypassed the signed size check and was reinterpreted as an enormous unsigned count, causing client bytes to overwrite memory beyond the 64 KiB receive buffer. Any client completing a /socket WebSocket upgrade on an enabled mod_xml_rpc endpoint reached the parser before HTTP authentication; both the module and WebSocket endpoint are disabled by default. The heap overwrite can corrupt connection pointers and crash FreeSWITCH, ending every concurrent session, although remote code execution has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.2.1d
