Descrição técnica

src/internal.c in wolfSSL wolfSSH through 1.5.0 admits the server-to-client Diffie-Hellman group exchange messages SSH_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_GROUP (31) and SSH_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_REPLY (33) when a server receives them from an unauthenticated client. IsMessageAllowedServer() applies no direction check to the key exchange message range: when the peer is keying and no particular message is expected, which is the state a server is in for the whole window after it processes the client's KEXINIT because nothing sets handshake->expectMsgId there, the function falls out of its expectation branch without a verdict and reaches a numeric bound that admits every message id from 30 through 34. A client that negotiates diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256 and then sends message 31 makes the server run the client-side handler DoKexDhGexGroup(), which validates the attacker-supplied group with two 8-round Miller-Rabin primality tests, one on p and one on (p-1)/2, on a value of up to 8192 bits. The handler then returns success: the server stores the attacker's prime and generator, generates a Diffie-Hellman key pair in the attacker's group, and sends the client-role message SSH_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_INIT (32) back to the attacker. Published RFC 3526 safe primes are the worst-case input and cost the attacker nothing to obtain. The primality validation was added in 1.5.0; versions from 1.2.0 through 1.4.22 admit the same message and enter the same client-role path without the primality cost. Message 33 is admitted as well, but on a server it is rejected before any cryptography because no public key check callback is registered, so it carries no comparable cost. Builds that define WOLFSSH_NO_DH_GEX_SHA256, which is implied by WOLFSSH_NO_DH or NO_SHA256, are unaffected.

———Regexp2 is a feature-rich RegExp engine for Go. Prior to version 2.3.0, when regexp2 compiles and matches a pattern containing a large fixed-count quantifier applied to a zero-width subexpression — e.g. (?:){50000000} — the match engine executes the empty loop body m-1 times, pushing two integers onto the backtracking stack on every iteration. Because the parser accepts any repetition count up to math.MaxInt32 and the backtracking stack grows without bound, a pattern of fewer than 20 bytes matched against an empty input can force multi-gigabyte allocation and OOM-kill the process. MatchTimeout does not fully mitigate this because the memory is allocated faster than the 100 ms timeout clock can fire. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.0.48m

——0A flaw was found in the SAML implementation of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The SAML Artifact Resolution and ECP SOAP endpoints do not properly limit the size or complexity of incoming XML requests. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted, large XML messages that cause the server to consume excessive memory. This leads to the application running out of memory and crashing, resulting in a denial of service for all users.8h

——0OpenHuman is an open-source agent harness available as a desktop application and Rust library. Before version 0.57.44, its local  /ws/dictation  WebSocket endpoint lacks client authentication and browser-origin validation. An unauthenticated client, including a malicious web page able to reach the endpoint, can submit audio and trigger resource-intensive speech-to-text processing. Earlier affected versions also accumulate audio in an unbounded buffer, allowing continuous streaming to exhaust process memory. These conditions can degrade performance, exhaust resources, or crash the application. This issue is fixed in version 0.57.44.10h

——0A flaw was found in the theme resource endpoint of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs because the server fails to validate theme names before using them as keys for an on-disk gzip cache. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending many requests with unique, fabricated theme names, leading to persistent disk space exhaustion that survives server restarts and causes service disruptions.8h

——0A flaw was found in the SAML XML processing component of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the server parses XML documents containing excessively long dateTime or duration values. Because these strings are not properly validated before processing, the XML parser consumes excessive CPU time. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted SAML requests to the server, leading to high CPU utilization and a denial of service for all users.6h

——0In multitenant deployments, ContextFilter and LoginWorker built a per-tenant delegator name from a request-supplied userTenantId parameter and requested a delegator for it before confirming the tenant existed. DelegatorFactory's internal cache retains every delegator name it is asked to resolve, including ones that fail to resolve, so an unauthenticated attacker could submit a stream of arbitrary tenant IDs to grow this cache without bound, driving unnecessary memory and database load.12h
