Descrição técnica

An external control of file path vulnerability in a WatchGuard Fireware OS firewall diagnostic command allows a remote, authenticated attacker with at least read-only (Device Monitor) privileges and access to the management CLI to create, truncate, or overwrite arbitrary files and modify kernel parameters with root privileges by submitting a specially crafted command. Written content is limited to numeric values.

CVE-2026-1235326.5 MÉD
—
———gix-fs in gitoxide before 0.24.1 contains a credential disclosure vulnerability that allows remote attackers to capture NTLM credentials by supplying UNC symlink targets in a crafted repository. When a victim checks out the repository on Windows with symlinks enabled, gix_fs::symlink::create calls is_dir() on the UNC target, triggering SMB authentication that leaks the username, domain, and NTLMv2 hash.11h

———Vikunja veans before 2.7.1 contains a symlink following vulnerability that allows attackers to make veans init write files outside the repository via crafted repo symlinks. Attackers can ship symlinked .veans.yml, .claude, or .opencode entries to overwrite user files like ~/.bashrc or install veans hooks and plugins globally.11h

——1The Tournamatch WordPress plugin before 4.7.1 does not validate or restrict the path of a previously stored profile or team image before deleting it when a new image is uploaded, allowing users with a role as low as Subscriber to delete arbitrary files on the server, such as wp-config.php, which can lead to a full site takeover.18h

——3Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.3, connection creation or update stored attacker-chosen absolute SSL and SSH file paths, and later connection cleanup passed those stored paths to fs.unlink without a path restriction. The vulnerable surface is data-connection certificate and SSH-key cleanup when a connection is removed. A user with createOwn and deleteOwn permissions on their own team stores a target path in a connection and then deletes the connection to trigger cleanup; default self-signup grants teamOwner these permissions. The cleanup routine treats the stored SSL or SSH path as a managed certificate path and unlinks the referenced file; duplicateConnection provides a second advisory-identified trigger. The attacker must be able to create or update and then delete a connection on their own team. The default container runs Chartbrew as uid 0, while deployments with a less-privileged process are limited by that process's deletion permissions. The attacker can delete files such as /code/.env or application source, causing integrity loss and service disruption. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.3.2d
