Descrição técnica

Rsyslog is a rocket-fast system for log processing. From versions 1.15.0 to 8.2610.0, rsyslog's omfile dynaFile facility intentionally allows templates to generate flexible output paths. This supports valid deployments that route logs into different directories or use dynamically generated file names. A deployment becomes unsafe when a dynaFile template uses a value influenced by untrusted input as a path component without explicit secure-path handling. In that configuration, the rendered path can escape the operator's intended log directory. This is not limited to the RFC5424 HOSTNAME field. Any untrusted value that reaches a dynaFile path component can create the condition. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

CVE-2026-1244909.1 CRÍ
—
———OpenEMR before 8.3.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the RingCentral RCFaxClient disposeDocument() method of oe-module-faxsms that allows authenticated attackers to read and write arbitrary files via the file_path parameter. Attackers can use action=download to read credentials and source code, or action=setup with base64 content to write web-executable files for code execution.1h
CVE-2026-1244796.5 MÉD
—
———OpenEMR before 8.4.0 contains an arbitrary local file read vulnerability in REST document download, where the controller passes stored uploaded document bytes to Symfony's BinaryFileResponse as a filesystem path instead of returning them as content. Authenticated users with document upload and download access can upload a document containing an absolute pathname, such as the sqlconf.php location, then download it to read server files and recover database credentials.1h
CVE-2026-1244678.8 ALT
—
———OpenEMR before 8.4.0 contains a local file inclusion in the ESign router (library/ESign/Router.php), which passes the unsanitized module parameter into a require_once of '<module>/Controller.php', and the fax module's faxProcessUploads writes attacker-named files to a predictable temp path without extension checks. Authenticated attackers can upload a PHP file named Controller.php, then request interface/esign/index.php with a traversing module parameter to include it and execute arbitrary code.1h
CVE-2026-1244577.6 ALT
—
———OpenEMR before 8.3.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in interface/billing/sl_eob_process.php that allows authenticated users to write and read files by supplying unsanitized eraname values. Attackers without billing privileges can inject ../ sequences to create ERA report .html files anywhere the web user can write and parse arbitrary .edi files echoed into the report.1h
CVE-2026-1244509.9 CRÍ
—
———OpenEMR before 8.3.0 contains a broken access control and path traversal vulnerability in the fax/sms module disposeDocument action via an unvalidated file_path parameter. Authenticated low-privilege users can read sqlconf.php to recover database credentials and write arbitrary files as the web user, enabling remote code execution.1h
CVE-2026-1244468.8 ALT
—
———OpenEMR before 8.3.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the FaxSMS module's RCFaxClient and SignalWireClient disposeDocument functions that allows authenticated low-privilege users to read and overwrite arbitrary files via the unsanitized file_path parameter. Attackers can request action=download to retrieve cleartext files like sqlconf.php database credentials and keys, or use action=setup to overwrite web-server-writable files with ciphertext.1h
