CVE-2026-314489.4 CRI

11In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: avoid infinite loops caused by residual data On the mkdir/mknod path, when mapping logical blocks to physical blocks, if inserting a new extent into the extent tree fails (in this example, because the file system disabled the huge file feature when marking the inode as dirty), ext4_ext_map_blocks() only calls ext4_free_blocks() to reclaim the physical block without deleting the corresponding data in the extent tree. This causes subsequent mkdir operations to reference the previously reclaimed physical block number again, even though this physical block is already being used by the xattr block. Therefore, a situation arises where both the directory and xattr are using the same buffer head block in memory simultaneously. The above causes ext4_xattr_block_set() to enter an infinite loop about "inserted" and cannot release the inode lock, ultimately leading to the 143s blocking problem mentioned in [1]. If the metadata is corrupted, then trying to remove some extent space can do even more harm. Also in case EXT4_GET_BLOCKS_DELALLOC_RESERVE was passed, remove space wrongly update quota information. Jan Kara suggests distinguishing between two cases: 1) The error is ENOSPC or EDQUOT - in this case the filesystem is fully consistent and we must maintain its consistency including all the accounting. However these errors can happen only early before we've inserted the extent into the extent tree. So current code works correctly for this case. 2) Some other error - this means metadata is corrupted. We should strive to do as few modifications as possible to limit damage. So I'd just skip freeing of allocated blocks. [1] INFO: task syz.0.17:5995 blocked for more than 143 seconds. 11FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.21.0, in ClearCodec, when `glyphData` is present, `clear_decompress` calls `freerdp_image_copy_no_overlap` without validating the destination rectangle, allowing an out-of-bounds read/write via crafted RDPGFX surface updates. A malicious server can trigger a client‑side heap buffer overflow, causing a crash (DoS) and potential heap corruption with code‑execution risk depending on allocator behavior and surrounding heap layout. Version 3.21.0 contains a patch for the issue.4d

11Metabase is an open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. From 1.54.0 until 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4, a Metabase user with permission to add or edit a database connection can achieve remote code execution on the Metabase server by configuring a Snowflake connection to an attacker-controlled server, because a flaw in the Snowflake JDBC driver can write arbitrary files anywhere on the Metabase host, including replacing one of Metabase's own database driver files that later executes inside the Metabase process. This issue is fixed in versions 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4.3d

11New API is a large language mode (LLM) gateway and artificial intelligence (AI) asset management system. Prior to 0.12.0-alpha.1, the default SSRF protection configuration did not apply IP filtering to hostnames; with ApplyIPFilterForDomain disabled by default, URL validation checked domain allow/block rules but did not resolve a hostname and validate the resolved IP address, allowing authenticated users to configure Webhook, Bark, or Gotify notification URLs that point at an internal or metadata IP address. This issue is fixed in version 0.12.0-alpha.1.2d

11An Origin Validation Error in the elysia-cors library thru 1.3.0 allows attackers to bypass Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) restrictions. The library incorrectly validates the supplied origin by checking if it is a substring of any domain in the site's CORS policy, rather than performing an exact match. For example, a malicious origin like "notexample.com", "example.common.net" is whitelisted when the site's CORS policy specifies "example.com." This vulnerability enables unauthorized access to user data on sites using the elysia-cors library for CORS validation.14d

11@fastify/reply-from v12.6.1 and earlier and @fastify/http-proxy v11.4.3 and earlier process the client's Connection header after the proxy has added its own headers via rewriteRequestHeaders. This allows attackers to retroactively strip proxy-added headers from upstream requests by listing them in the Connection header value. Any header added by the proxy for routing, access control, or security purposes can be selectively removed by a client. @fastify/http-proxy is also affected as it delegates to @fastify/reply-from.
