CVE-2026-316645.5 MED2.2%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfrm: clear trailing padding in build_polexpire()
build_expire() clears the trailing padding bytes of struct
xfrm_user_expire after setting the hard field via memset_after(),
but the analogous function build_polexpire() does not do this for
struct xfrm_user_polexpire.
The padding bytes after the __u8 hard field are left
uninitialized from the heap allocation, and are then sent to
userspace via netlink multicast to XFRMNLGRP_EXPIRE listeners,
leaking kernel heap memory contents.
Add the missing memset_after() call, matching build_expire().6dCVE-2026-316585.5 MED2.2%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: altera-tse: fix skb leak on DMA mapping error in tse_start_xmit()
When dma_map_single() fails in tse_start_xmit(), the function returns
NETDEV_TX_OK without freeing the skb. Since NETDEV_TX_OK tells the
stack the packet was consumed, the skb is never freed, leaking memory
on every DMA mapping failure.
Add dev_kfree_skb_any() before returning to properly free the skb.6dCVE-2026-314215.5 MED2.2%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: cls_fw: fix NULL pointer dereference on shared blocks
The old-method path in fw_classify() calls tcf_block_q() and
dereferences q->handle. Shared blocks leave block->q NULL, causing a
NULL deref when an empty cls_fw filter is attached to a shared block
and a packet with a nonzero major skb mark is classified.
Reject the configuration in fw_change() when the old method (no
TCA_OPTIONS) is used on a shared block, since fw_classify()'s
old-method path needs block->q which is NULL for shared blocks.
The fixed null-ptr-deref calling stack:

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: ipset: drop logically empty buckets in mtype_del
mtype_del() counts empty slots below n->pos in k, but it only drops the
bucket when both n->pos and k are zero. This misses buckets whose live
entries have all been removed while n->pos still points past deleted slots.
Treat a bucket as empty when all positions below n->pos are unused and
release it directly instead of shrinking it further.6dCVE-2026-233985.5 MED2.2%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
icmp: fix NULL pointer dereference in icmp_tag_validation()
icmp_tag_validation() unconditionally dereferences the result of
rcu_dereference(inet_protos[proto]) without checking for NULL.
The inet_protos[] array is sparse -- only about 15 of 256 protocol
numbers have registered handlers. When ip_no_pmtu_disc is set to 3
(hardened PMTU mode) and the kernel receives an ICMP Fragmentation
Needed error with a quoted inner IP header containing an unregistered
protocol number, the NULL dereference causes a kernel panic in
softirq context.

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: bridge: fix nd_tbl NULL dereference when IPv6 is disabled
When booting with the 'ipv6.disable=1' parameter, the nd_tbl is never
initialized because inet6_init() exits before ndisc_init() is called
which initializes it. Then, if neigh_suppress is enabled and an ICMPv6
Neighbor Discovery packet reaches the bridge, br_do_suppress_nd() will
dereference ipv6_stub->nd_tbl which is NULL, passing it to
neigh_lookup(). This causes a kernel NULL pointer dereference.

——1varstored is a component of the Xapi toolstack handling UEFI Variables
for a VM. It has a communication path with OVMF inside the VM involving
mapping a buffer prepared by OVMF.
Within varstored, there were insufficient compiler barriers, creating
TOCTOU issues with data in the shared buffer.
The exact vulnerable behaviour depends on the code generated by the
compiler. In a build of varstored using default settings, the attacker
can control an index used in a jump table.11dCVE-2026-146843.3 BAJ2.1%
——1A flaw has been found in HdrHistogram up to 2.2.2. This affects the function org.HdrHistogram.AbstractHistogram.decodeFromByteBuffer of the file src/main/java/org/HdrHistogram/AbstractHistogram.java. This manipulation of the argument numberOfSignificantValueDigits causes uncontrolled memory allocation. The attack can only be executed locally. The exploit has been published and may be used. The actual existence of this vulnerability is currently in question. This issue is disputed due to the potential lack of crossing of security boundaries and the pre-requisites for a successful attack.5dCVE-2026-533617.1 ALT2.1%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86: Fix shadow paging use-after-free due to unexpected role
Commit 0cb2af2ea66ad ("KVM: x86: Fix shadow paging use-after-free due
to unexpected GFN") fixed a shadow paging mismatch between stored and
computed GFNs; the bug could be triggered by changing a PDE mapping from
outside the guest, and then deleting a memslot. The rmap_remove()
call would miss entries created after the PDE change because the GFN
of the leaf SPTE does not match the GFN of the struct kvm_mmu_page.
A similar hole however remains if the modified PDE points to a non-leaf
page. In this case the gfn can be made to match, but the role does not
match: the original large 2MB page creates a kvm_mmu_page with direct=1,
while the new 4KB needs a kvm_mmu_page with direct=0. However,
kvm_mmu_get_child_sp() does not compare the role, and therefore reuses
the page.
The next step is installing a leaf (4KB) SPTE on the new path which
records an rmap entry under the gfn resolved by the walk. But when
that child is zapped its parent kvm_mmu_page has direct=1 and
kvm_mmu_page_get_gfn() computes the gfn for the 4KB page as
sp->gfn + index instead of using sp->shadowed_translation[] (or sp->gfns[]
in older kernels). It therefore fails to remove the recorded entry.
When the memslot is dropped the shadow page is freed but the rmap
entry survives, as in the scenario that was already fixed. Code that
later walks that gfn (dirty logging, MMU notifier invalidation, and
so on) dereferences an sptep that lies in the freed page, causing the
use-after-free.3dCVE-2026-146075.5 MED2.1%
——1A weakness has been identified in RT-Thread up to 5.0.2. This affects the function sys_getaddrinfo of the file components/lwp/lwp_syscall.c. Executing a manipulation of the argument ai_addr can lead to memory corruption. The attack can only be executed locally. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.14dCVE-2026-533417.8 ALT2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fhandle: fix UAF due to unlocked ->mnt_ns read in may_decode_fh()
may_decode_fh() accesses mount::mnt_ns without holding any locks; that
means the mount can concurrently be unmounted, and the mnt_namespace can
concurrently be freed after an RCU grace period.
This race can happens as follows, assuming that the mount point was
created by open_tree(..., OPEN_TREE_CLONE):

[mnt_namespace::user_ns access] **UAF**
Fix it by taking rcu_read_lock() around the mount::mnt_ns access, like
in __prepend_path().
Additionally, document the semantics of mount::mnt_ns, and use WRITE_ONCE()
for writers that can race with lockless readers.
This bug is unreachable unless one of the following is set:
- CONFIG_PREEMPTION
- CONFIG_RCU_STRICT_GRACE_PERIOD
because it requires an RCU grace period to happen during a syscall without
an explicit preemption.
This doesn't seem to have interesting security impact; worst-case, it could
leak the result of an integer comparison to userspace (from the level
check in cap_capable()), cause an endless loop, or crash the kernel by
dereferencing an invalid address.3dCVE-2026-532635.5 MED2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
6lowpan: fix off-by-one in multicast context address compression
The second memcpy in lowpan_iphc_mcast_ctx_addr_compress() uses
&data[1] as destination and &ipaddr->s6_addr[11] as source, but
both should be offset by one: &data[2] and &ipaddr->s6_addr[12]
respectively.
This off-by-one has two consequences:
1. data[1] is overwritten with s6_addr[11], corrupting the RIID
field in the compressed multicast address
2. data[5] is never written, so uninitialized kernel stack memory
is transmitted over the network via lowpan_push_hc_data(),
leaking kernel stack contents
The correct inline data layout must match what the decompression
function lowpan_uncompress_multicast_ctx_daddr() expects:
data[0..1] = s6_addr[1..2] (flags/scope + RIID)
data[2..5] = s6_addr[12..15] (group ID)
Also zero-initialize the data array as a defensive measure against
similar bugs in the future.13dCVE-2026-531107.8 ALT2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/bpf: Zero-extend bpf prog return values and kfunc arguments
s390x ABI requires callers to zero-extend unsigned arguments and
sign-extend signed arguments, and callees to zero-extend unsigned
return values and sign-extend signed return values.
s390 BPF JIT currently implements only sign extension. Fix this
omission and implement zero extension too.6dCVE-2026-28529—2.1%
——1cryptodev-linux version 1.14 and prior contain a page reference handling flaw in the get_userbuf function of the /dev/crypto device driver that allows local users to trigger use-after-free conditions. Attackers with access to the /dev/crypto interface can repeatedly decrement reference counts of controlled pages to achieve local privilege escalation.6dCVE-2026-233927.8 ALT2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_tables: release flowtable after rcu grace period on error
Call synchronize_rcu() after unregistering the hooks from error path,
since a hook that already refers to this flowtable can be already
registered, exposing this flowtable to packet path and nfnetlink_hook
control plane.
This error path is rare, it should only happen by reaching the maximum
number hooks or by failing to set up to hardware offload, just call
synchronize_rcu().
There is a check for already used device hooks by different flowtable
that could result in EEXIST at this late stage. The hook parser can be
updated to perform this check earlier to this error path really becomes
rarely exercised.
Uncovered by KASAN reported as use-after-free from nfnetlink_hook path
when dumping hooks.6dCVE-2026-231005.5 MED2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/hugetlb: fix hugetlb_pmd_shared()
Patch series "mm/hugetlb: fixes for PMD table sharing (incl. using
mmu_gather)", v3.
One functional fix, one performance regression fix, and two related
comment fixes.
I cleaned up my prototype I recently shared [1] for the performance fix,
deferring most of the cleanups I had in the prototype to a later point.
While doing that I identified the other things.
The goal of this patch set is to be backported to stable trees "fairly"
easily. At least patch #1 and #4.
Patch #1 fixes hugetlb_pmd_shared() not detecting any sharing
Patch #2 + #3 are simple comment fixes that patch #4 interacts with.
Patch #4 is a fix for the reported performance regression due to excessive
IPI broadcasts during fork()+exit().
The last patch is all about TLB flushes, IPIs and mmu_gather.
Read: complicated
There are plenty of cleanups in the future to be had + one reasonable
optimization on x86. But that's all out of scope for this series.
Runtime tested, with a focus on fixing the performance regression using
the original reproducer [2] on x86.
This patch (of 4):
We switched from (wrongly) using the page count to an independent shared
count. Now, shared page tables have a refcount of 1 (excluding
speculative references) and instead use ptdesc->pt_share_count to identify
sharing.
We didn't convert hugetlb_pmd_shared(), so right now, we would never
detect a shared PMD table as such, because sharing/unsharing no longer
touches the refcount of a PMD table.
Page migration, like mbind() or migrate_pages() would allow for migrating
folios mapped into such shared PMD tables, even though the folios are not
exclusive. In smaps we would account them as "private" although they are
"shared", and we would be wrongly setting the PM_MMAP_EXCLUSIVE in the
pagemap interface.
Fix it by properly using ptdesc_pmd_is_shared() in hugetlb_pmd_shared().6dCVE-2026-229945.5 MED2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix reference count leak in bpf_prog_test_run_xdp()
syzbot is reporting
unregister_netdevice: waiting for sit0 to become free. Usage count = 2
problem. A debug printk() patch found that a refcount is obtained at
xdp_convert_md_to_buff() from bpf_prog_test_run_xdp().
According to commit ec94670fcb3b ("bpf: Support specifying ingress via
xdp_md context in BPF_PROG_TEST_RUN"), the refcount obtained by
xdp_convert_md_to_buff() will be released by xdp_convert_buff_to_md().
Therefore, we can consider that the error handling path introduced by
commit 1c1949982524 ("bpf: introduce frags support to
bpf_prog_test_run_xdp()") forgot to call xdp_convert_buff_to_md().6dCVE-2026-242266.3 MED2.1%

——17-Zip for Windows through 26.01 fails to preserve the Mark-of-the-Web when extracting a crafted RAR5 archive, because its guard that suppresses an archive-supplied Zone.Identifier stream matches the exact name 'Zone.Identifier' while a RAR5 STM record named ':Zone.Identifier:$DATA' is not matched and NTFS canonicalizes it to the same stream, overwriting the propagated Internet-zone marker with ZoneId=0. A second STM record named '::$DATA' overwrites the extracted file's default data stream, letting an attacker defeat SmartScreen/MotW warnings and spoof file content.6dCVE-2026-567884.4 MED2.1%
——1RTKLIB through 2.4.3 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in getcodepri function when processing unrecognized RINEX observation codes, allowing attackers to trigger denial of service. ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix NULL-deref of opinfo->conn in oplock/lease break notifiers
smb2_oplock_break_noti() and smb2_lease_break_noti() read opinfo->conn
into a local with neither READ_ONCE() nor a NULL check. Both run from
oplock_break() after opinfo_get_list() has dropped ci->m_lock, so a
concurrent SMB2 LOGOFF (session_fd_check()) can set op->conn = NULL
under ci->m_lock within that window. ksmbd_conn_r_count_inc(conn) then
writes through NULL at offset 0xc4 -- a remotely triggerable oops.
Guard both reads the way compare_guid_key() already does: read
opinfo->conn with READ_ONCE() and return early if it is NULL, before
allocating the work struct so nothing leaks. A NULL conn means the
client is gone and the break is moot, so return 0; oplock_break() treats
that as success and runs the normal teardown.13dCVE-2026-532695.5 MED2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: synproxy: add mutex to guard hook reference counting
As the synproxy infrastructure register netfilter hooks on-demand when a
user adds the first iptables target or nftables expression, if done
concurrently they can race each other.
Introduce a mutex to serialize the refcount control blocks access from
both frontends. While a per namespace mutex might be more efficient, it
is not needed for target/expression like SYNPROXY.13dCVE-2026-128924.4 MED2.1%
——1A flaw was found in GStreamer's gst-plugins-bad package. When processing a specially crafted H.264 video file containing malformed MVC or SVC extension slice NAL units, a 1-byte heap out-of-bounds read can occur during parsing. This happens when the parser attempts to check slice boundary information without first verifying that the NAL unit contains enough data beyond the extension header. ——1Oj (Optimized JSON) is a JSON parser and Object marshaller packaged as a Ruby gem. In versions prior to 3.17.2, when in object mode, Oj.dump is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow when serializing Exception objects with a large :indent value. The serializer allocates a buffer sized for the object's attributes but does not account for the indent bytes added on each write. With indent: 5000, the accumulation of 5,000-byte indent strings overflows the 13,150-byte heap allocation, corrupting adjacent heap memory. This issue has been fixed in version 3.17.2.19dCVE-2026-532615.5 MED2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
devlink: Release nested relation on devlink free
devlink relation state is normally released from devl_unregister(), which
calls devlink_rel_put(). This misses devlink instances that get a nested
relation before registration and then fail probe before devl_register() is
reached.
That flow can happen for SFs. The child devlink gets linked to its
parent before registration, then a later probe error calls devlink_free()
directly. Since the instance was never registered, devl_unregister() is not
called and devlink->rel is leaked.
Release any pending relation from devlink_free() as well. The registered
path is unchanged because devl_unregister() already clears devlink->rel
before devlink_free() runs.12dCVE-2026-463247.8 ALT2.1%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: fix overlayfs mmap() and mprotect() access checks
The existing SELinux security model for overlayfs is to allow access if
the current task is able to access the top level file (the "user" file)
and the mounter's credentials are sufficient to access the lower
level file (the "backing" file). Unfortunately, the current code does
not properly enforce these access controls for both mmap() and mprotect()
operations on overlayfs filesystems.
This patch makes use of the newly created security_mmap_backing_file()
