CVE-2026-762794.3 MED
12.8%
——4In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, a user that holds a role with the run_collect capability could use the collect Search Processing Language (SPL) command to write events to internal indexes outside the index access configured for the role. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Enterprise does not normalize whitespace in an index name before applying configured index-access restrictions for the role. For more information see collect (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl-search-reference/10.4/search-commands/collect), Define roles on the Splunk platform with capabilities (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/define-roles-on-the-splunk-platform-with-capabilities), and How indexing works (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-indexers-and-indexer-clusters/10.4/indexing-overview/how-indexing-works) in the Splunk documentation.12d

——3In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a user that holds a role with the edit_spl2_module_permissions capability could use the affected Representational State Transfer (REST) API to access permission grants for SPL2 modules that the user does not have permission to view. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Enterprise does not verify that the user can read the requested app before the affected REST API returns SPL2 module permission grants. For more information see Module permissions (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl2-search-manual/modules-statements-and-views/module-permissions) and Manage SPL2 modules (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl2-search-manual/multiple-searches-in-an-spl2-module/manage-spl2-modules) in the Splunk documentation. ——5In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, a user that holds a role with the edit_user capability could create a native Splunk username that ends with a period. The vulnerability is possible because username validation does not reject a trailing period before the username is used for a user directory. This can cause distinct native Splunk usernames to share per-user configuration data, and user-management operations can affect the wrong account or fail. For more information see Set up native Splunk authentication (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/use-the-native-splunk-platform-authentication-scheme/set-up-native-splunk-authentication) and Define roles on the Splunk platform with capabilities (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/define-roles-on-the-splunk-platform-with-capabilities) in the Splunk documentation.12d

——4In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a low-privileged user that does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could retrieve original source code for the Discover Splunk Observability Cloud app through Splunk Web. The vulnerability is possible because production JavaScript bundles for the app contain embedded source maps that include original source code. For more information see About configuring role-based user access (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/about-configuring-role-based-user-access), Splunk Observability Cloud previews (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/search-manual/10.4/observability/splunk-observability-cloud-previews), and Navigating Splunk Web (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/search-tutorial/10.4/part-1-getting-started/navigating-splunk-web) in the Splunk documentation. ——8In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a user that holds a role with the read_o11y_content capability could redirect an outbound request from Splunk App for Splunk Observability Cloud through the Representational State Transfer (REST) API to an attacker-controlled host and disclose the configured Observability Cloud Application Programming Interface (API) token. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk App for Splunk Observability Cloud does not fully validate the destination of an outbound request. For more information see Authentication tokens (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-observability-cloud/administer/authentication-and-security/authentication-tokens) in the Splunk documentation. ——4In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, a user that holds a role with the run_collect capability could use the collect Search Processing Language (SPL) command to add attacker-controlled content to system-level messages on the Splunk platform instance. The vulnerability is possible because the collect command does not validate the index name before processing the value. For more information see collect (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl-search-reference/10.4/search-commands/collect), Define roles on the Splunk platform with capabilities (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/define-roles-on-the-splunk-platform-with-capabilities), and System endpoint descriptions (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/rest-api-reference/10.4/system-endpoints/system-endpoint-descriptions) in the Splunk documentation.12d

——4In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could cause Splunk Secure Gateway to sign attacker-controlled payloads. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Secure Gateway does not verify that the user is authorized to request a signature. Splunk Secure Gateway versions below 3.10.11, 3.9.25, and 3.8.72 are also affected. For more information see Define roles on the Splunk platform with capabilities (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.2/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/define-roles-on-the-splunk-platform-with-capabilities) in the Splunk documentation.12d

——7In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, a user that holds a role with the list_spl2_modules capability could use SQL injection in SPL2 module filtering to access all relevant data available through the affected Representational State Transfer (REST) API, including private SPL2 module definitions belonging to other users. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform do not parameterize user-supplied values before using them in database queries for SPL2 module filtering. For more information see Manage SPL2 modules (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl2-search-manual/multiple-searches-in-an-spl2-module/manage-spl2-modules) and Module permissions (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl2-search-manual/modules-statements-and-views/module-permissions) in the Splunk documentation. ——1In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15 on Linux, a local user who can run commands as the user account running Splunk Enterprise could cause an affected Linux package upgrade to run attacker-controlled operating-system commands with root privileges. The vulnerability is possible because the Linux package maintainer script trusts existing Splunk Enterprise installation content when it performs upgrade operations with root privileges. The vulnerability requires an affected Linux package upgrade to occur after the local user modifies the installation. The local user should not be able to elevate privileges at will.12d

——5The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.16.0 until 3.0.14, ThreadSafeCookieStore incompletely validates cookie Domain attributes. Missing private-section and default public-suffix rules, absent A-label normalization, locale-sensitive lowercasing, public-suffix host-only handling, and numeric or IP host checks allow one origin to store a cookie later sent to another origin. Applications sharing one client across trust domains can therefore receive attacker-injected cookies and may be exposed to session fixation. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.18d
CVE-2026-1072286.8 MED

——7The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 3.0.14, the enabled-by-default cookie store replaces a Cookie header explicitly supplied through setHeader or addHeader whenever the store contributes any cookie for the origin. In a shared client, stored cookies originating from one user can replace a different user's request cookie, causing the request to execute under the wrong session. This bypasses the earlier CVE-2024-53990 remediation, which covered cookies supplied through addCookie but not a directly supplied header. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.18d
CVE-2026-1072277.5 ALT

——11The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.2.0 until 3.0.14, WebSocket permessage-deflate decompression is unbounded when compression is enabled. The inbound pipeline aggregates compressed frames before WebSocketClientCompressionHandler inflates them, so webSocketMaxFrameSize and webSocketMaxBufferSize do not bound decompressed output. A malicious WebSocket peer can send a small compressed message that expands to a very large Netty buffer and exhausts JVM heap. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.18d

——6traverse (npm) versions 0.3.6 through 0.3.9, 0.4.0 through 0.4.6, 0.5.0 through 0.5.2, and 0.6.0 through 0.6.11 allow prototype pollution through set(). When the path passed to set() crosses a primitive value, the next path segment is resolved on that primitive's built-in prototype, so an application that passes an untrusted path to set() lets an attacker add or overwrite properties of String.prototype, Number.prototype, or Boolean.prototype using plain JSON data, for example traverse({ name: 'bob' }).set(['name', '__proto__', 'polluted'], 'yes'). Object.prototype was reachable only with a non-data path segment, such as an object whose toString returns a different value on each call, or through a Proxy that accepts an assignment without storing it. This is fixed in 0.3.10, 0.4.7, 0.5.3, and 0.6.12.18d

——2A flaw was found in the cluster-samples-operator. The RBAC Role coreos-pull-secret-reader in namespace openshift-config grants get, list, and watch permissions on all Secret resources without resourceNames scoping. The operator only requires access to the pull-secret Secret. If the samples-operator pod or its service account token is compromised through a separate vulnerability, an attacker could read all secrets in openshift-config, potentially including OAuth identity provider credentials, cloud provider credentials, and other sensitive cluster configuration.18d
CVE-2026-1071617.5 ALT
26.9%
——8A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in Cyrus SASL. The add_to_challenge() function in the DIGEST-MD5 plugin computes the size of the buffer needed for a challenge/response field before DIGEST-MD5 quoting is applied, but does not recompute that size when quoting (escaping special characters) makes the value longer. The under-sized buffer is then passed to strcat(), causing a heap-based out-of-bounds write whose size depends on attacker-controlled input. A malicious or on-path DIGEST-MD5 (or HTTP Digest) server can trigger this flaw in a connecting client by supplying a crafted challenge field, such as realm or nonce, most likely resulting in a crash of the client application.17d

——1pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.4 and 42.7.5 can send the previous contents of the GSS send buffer in place of the first part of a value on a connection with GSS encryption (gssEncMode=prefer or require), and the server stores the value without an error. The buffer is 16320 bytes with MIT Kerberos. The stored value then holds bytes of the messages the driver sent just before it on the same connection, such as the statement's SQL text, its other parameters, and earlier rows of the same batch, instead of the bytes the application supplied. Values at least as long as the buffer are affected when the driver writes them from a byte array: bind parameters set with setString, setBytes, or a ByteStreamWriter, CopyIn.writeToCopy, and LargeObject.write. Most such writes fail with an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException instead. The default, gssEncMode=allow, does not start GSS encryption, and connections without GSS encryption are not affected. Versions 42.7.3 and earlier are not affected, and 42.7.6 fixes the problem.18d

——6Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.8.0 to 2.11.0, GetStyle's fill, border, and font extraction predicates check only upper bounds for attacker-controlled style-table indices. File.GetStyle relies on extractStyleCondFuncs predicates that allow negative FillID, BorderID, and FontID values to reach slice indexing. When a crafted styles.xml supplies a negative fillId, borderId, or fontId and the application reads the style, a negative identifier passes the upper-bound-only predicate and becomes a negative slice index, allowing an attacker to panic while reading cell styling. No fixed version is available as of this review.13d

——7Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.1.0 to 2.11.0, a Zip64 uncompressed size with the high bit set is converted from uint64 to a negative int64 before signed size-limit checks and allocation. ReadZipReader obtains UncompressedSize64 through FileInfo.Size and passes the wrapped negative value to readFile. When a crafted Zip64 entry declares an uncompressed size from 2^63 through 2^64-1 and the workbook is opened, the negative size bypasses unzip limits and reaches make as a negative capacity, allowing an attacker to panic during workbook opening. No fixed version is available as of this review.13d

——9Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.1.0 to 2.11.0, flatCols expands file-loaded column ranges without validating Min and Max against the worksheet column limit. SetColWidth reaches flatCols, which expands xlsxCol.Min through xlsxCol.Max without enforcing MaxColumns. When a crafted worksheet supplies an oversized col max attribute and the application invokes a column mutator, flatCols performs a deep copy and append for every attacker-selected column number, allowing an attacker to consume excessive CPU and memory or trigger OOM. No fixed version is available as of this review.13d

——6Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.7.0 to 2.11.0, conditional-format extraction indexes required child slices or dereferences an optional colorScale child without validating malformed rule structure. GetConditionalFormats reaches extractCondFmtCellIs and also indexes ColorScale.Cfvo, DataBar.Cfvo, and DataBar.Color without complete structural checks. When a crafted worksheet supplies a cellIs, dataBar, or colorScale rule missing expected children and the application calls GetConditionalFormats, missing formula, color, value-object, or colorScale data reaches an out-of-range index or nil dereference, allowing an attacker to panic and terminate an unprotected process. No fixed version is available as of this review.13d

——6Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.0.0 to 2.11.0, checkRow sizes its target cell slice from the last cell in XML document order and then re-scatters every cell by its explicit column reference. GetCellValue reaches workSheetReader and checkRow, where targetList is too short for an earlier out-of-order cell. When a crafted row places a higher-column cell before a lower-column final cell and a non-streaming worksheet API reads the sheet, the earlier cell's column index exceeds the slice length derived from the final cell, allowing an attacker to cause an unrecovered panic and terminate the process. No fixed version is available as of this review.13d

——5Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.7.1 to 2.11.0, mergeCellsParser leaves the cached rectangle empty for an empty mergeCell ref and then passes that empty slice to cellInRange without a length check. GetCellValue reaches mergeCellsParser, which passes an empty rectangle derived from the mergeCell ref attribute into cellInRange. When a crafted worksheet contains an empty mergeCell ref and a non-streaming cell API reads the worksheet, cellInRange indexes four positions in an empty slice, allowing an attacker to panic on the first affected cell operation. No fixed version is available as of this review.13d

——9Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.3.1 to 2.11.0, agile decryption accepts an attacker-controlled spinCount and performs that many password-key derivation iterations before verifier validation. OpenFile reaches agileDecrypt, which passes the unbounded spinCount to convertPasswdToKey before password verification. When a crafted OLE encrypted-workbook header supplies an excessive spinCount and the file is opened, the key-derivation loop performs unbounded attacker-selected work and cannot be cancelled, allowing an attacker to consume a CPU core for an attacker-controlled duration. No fixed version is available as of this review.13d
