Descrição técnica

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, ThreadSafeCookieStore validates Domain attributes with domain matching but does not reject public suffixes. A host beneath a suffix such as co.uk can set a cookie for that suffix, after which the shared cookie store sends it to unrelated hosts under the suffix. This can inject or overwrite session-relevant cookie values across origins. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1.

——1WebDyne versions from 2.014 before 3.022 for Perl issue session cookies without the Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite attributes. WebDyne::Session sets its session cookie with only a name, value and path. Browsers then send the session ID over plain HTTP and with cross-site requests, and expose it to page scripts. A network attacker or an injected script can steal the session, and another site can make requests that carry it.4d

——5The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.16.0 until 3.0.14, ThreadSafeCookieStore incompletely validates cookie Domain attributes. Missing private-section and default public-suffix rules, absent A-label normalization, locale-sensitive lowercasing, public-suffix host-only handling, and numeric or IP host checks allow one origin to store a cookie later sent to another origin. Applications sharing one client across trust domains can therefore receive attacker-injected cookies and may be exposed to session fixation. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.28d

——2Hatchet is a platform for orchestrating background tasks, AI agents, and durable workflows at scale. Prior to 0.91.1, ValidateOAuthState clears the oauth_state_ session value to an empty string after a successful OAuth callback and later accepts an empty state parameter as equal, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to bind a victim's Hatchet session to an attacker-controlled OAuth identity. Exploitation requires the victim to have completed an OAuth flow in the current session and the deployment to enable auth.google.enabled, auth.github.enabled, or the Slack integration. This issue is fixed in version 0.91.1.42d

——13Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The CookieJar client middleware uses unanchored substring checks instead of RFC 6265 domain and path matching when deciding whether to attach a stored cookie. A cookie for example.com can consequently be sent to an attacker-controlled hostname such as evilexample.com when an application using the same jar makes an attacker-influenced outbound request. This exposes session or authentication cookies and can enable hijacking of the application’s outbound sessions. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.50d

——11Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.1.1, the default configuration initializes the iPlanetDirectoryPro SSO cookie with HttpOnly disabled and without a protective SameSite default, and OAuth and OpenID Connect consent flows reuse that cookie through CsrfProtection as a CSRF token. When combined with same-origin cross-site scripting and a user following an attacker-controlled link, the cookie can be read and reused to steal the SSO session and complete attacker-driven consent grants. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.1.43d

——3@hono/oauth-providers is Authentication middleware for Hono. Prior to version 0.8.6, the built-in social login providers accept an OAuth callback even when the `state` value is absent on both sides, so the anti-CSRF check passes for a callback that never came from a genuine login attempt. This defeats the `state`-based CSRF protection under default usage. Version 0.8.6 has a patch.66d
