CVE-2026-1075797.5 ALT
28.0%
——8Inefficient algorithmic complexity in the bounce and complaint processing of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to stop mail delivery by sending messages, when bounce processing or complaint processing is enabled or a mailing list is managed by the server (none is by default). The readers of incoming delivery status notifications (RFC 3464) and abuse feedback reports (RFC 5965) removed the blank lines at the start of the returned headers part two bytes at a time, copying the rest of the part each time, so their work grew with the square of the number of blank lines. A message shaped like such a report, whose headers part begins with a very large number of blank lines within the reader's 2 MB limit, keeps a delivery thread busy for over a minute while it is delivered, and a few such messages a minute keep every delivery thread busy.18d

——0Improper link resolution and external control of file paths in the administrative command-line operations of hMailServer.exe in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 allow a local attacker who already runs code as the low-privilege service account to escalate privilege. On Windows, operations run with administrator rights by the installer, DBSetup, the Control Panel or an administrator wrote log entries and crash records into the log folder, created, deleted and changed the permissions of the self-signed certificate and private key in the data folder, and rewrote message files in the data folder, all by path in folders the service account (NT SERVICE\hMailServer, the default for new installations since 6.3.4) can modify, following junctions and mount points; and the store-maintenance operations reached files by names taken from the database, which the service account can write, including names outside the data folder. On Linux, the store-maintenance and object-storage operations run as root followed symbolic links the service account (the packaged hmailserver user, which owns the data folder) planted in it, so a root-run operation read, wrote or removed the link's target as root. A local attacker controlling the service account can thereby gain the administrator's (Windows) or root's (Linux) privileges when such an operation is run.18d

——11Inefficient algorithmic complexity and a non-terminating loop in the MIME processing of received messages in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to make the mail services unavailable by sending a message. Removing a MIME header parameter whose value is empty and directly followed by a semicolon (for example a Content-Disposition with 'filename=a.bat; filename=;') entered a loop that never terminates, holding a worker thread at full load until the server is restarted; this is reached when the attachment blocker renames a blocked attachment or a filename is set over the REST API. Separately, decoding a header field that holds many RFC 2047 encoded words of an encoding other than base64 or quoted-printable, removing a parameter with many RFC 2231 continuations, and deleting many header fields of one name each took time growing with the square of the message, on the small thread pools that serve IMAP, SMTP and POP3 connections, delivery and the REST API.18d
CVE-2026-1075767.5 ALT

——11Inefficient algorithmic complexity in the inbound DKIM and ARC signature verification of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to make the mail services unavailable by sending a message. Building the canonical header and choosing the header fields named in a signature's h= tag took time growing with the square of the message's header: the 'simple' canonicalisation prepended each continuation line of a folded field to the lines already gathered, and both canonicalisations searched the gathered fields from the bottom for each h= name and erased the match from the middle of the list. A message whose header holds very many fields, or a field folded over very many lines, with a DKIM-Signature the attacker signs for a domain they control, keeps a worker thread busy for tens of seconds per signature; up to ten signatures are evaluated per message by each of the DKIM and DMARC tests, on the threads that serve delivery and SMTP.18d
CVE-2026-1075755.3 MED

——10Inefficient algorithmic complexity in the SPF macro expansion of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to consume worker-thread time by publishing a crafted SPF record. RFC 7208 section 7.1 requires a name too long to look up to lose whole labels from the left; the server did this by removing one label at a time and copying the rest of the name each time, so the work grew with the square of the expansion. An attacker who publishes an SPF record for a domain they control, with a mechanism whose domain-spec expands through macros to a name far longer than 253 characters, makes the SPF check of a message from that domain take several seconds. The expansion is bounded by SPF's own per-term and per-macro limits, so the loss of availability is partial.18d
CVE-2026-1075747.5 ALT

——11Inefficient algorithmic complexity in the JSON reader of Progressive Robot hMailServer allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to make the mail services unavailable. Reading a JSON object kept the first of each duplicated member name by searching the members already read, so an object of N distinct member names cost O(N^2): 1 MB took 8.9 seconds and 4 MB took 300 seconds against the affected code. A remote attacker reaches the reader without an account by mailing a crafted TLS-RPT report (up to 16 MB after decompression) to a hosted domain's published report mailbox, which is read on a delivery thread; a few such reports hold every delivery thread (ten by default), so the server delivers no mail, local or outbound, for over an hour per report. A signed-in account reaches the same 16 MB body through the webmail's own REST routes, holding the REST API's own worker threads. Where no report mailbox is configured, the unauthenticated REST sign-in routes that read a JSON body are capped at 64 KB and are not affected.18d

——0Incorrect default permissions in the Windows installer of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allow a local authenticated user to read the mail server's data. The installer created the data, log, temp, database and event folders and the hMailServer.INI configuration file with the permissions inherited from the installation folder, by default under Program Files, which give the local Users group read access. Any user who can sign in to the computer could read every stored message, the logs, the built-in database with the accounts' password hashes whenever the service is stopped, and the configuration file, including the database password, which is sealed only with the machine's DPAPI key and can be unsealed by any local account; with an external database that password gives full control of it. The Linux AppImage of 6.3.0 through 6.3.5 likewise created its per-user data folders readable by other local users.18d
CVE-2026-1075726.5 MED
23.2%
——7Inefficient complexity in the Sieve filter evaluation of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.2.24 through 6.3.5 allows an authenticated account holder to make the mail services unavailable with their own filter. A ':matches' pattern was matched by a backtracking descent whose time grew with the matched value's length raised to the number of wildcards, so a pattern such as '*a*a*a*b' over 800 characters took 44 seconds; and 'deleteheader' erased the fields it removed one at a time, so removing many fields of one name over a message's header cost O(N^2) (80,000 fields took 18.8 seconds). Sieve filters run on the small, shared delivery thread pool, so an account holder whose active script does this, fed a few messages they can send themselves, empties the pool and stops delivery for the whole server. The script is the account holder's own and cannot be set for another user.18d

——7@fastify/jwt is a JSON Web Token plugin for the Fastify web framework. In versions before 10.2.3, a time span passed to expiresIn, notBefore, or maxAge that the plugin's parser cannot read, such as a compound span, a month unit, an ISO 8601 duration, a decimal comma, or a value with surrounding whitespace, is silently dropped instead of refused. On the signing path this produces a token with no expiration claim that never expires, and on the verification path a configured maxAge stops being enforced, so a token that should be rejected for age is accepted. The issue is fixed in @fastify/jwt 10.2.3, and users should upgrade to 10.2.3 or later. As a workaround, pass these options as a number of seconds, or verify that any time-span string parses to a finite value before relying on it.18d

——3The Wallet System for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 2.8.0 does not validate that a wallet transfer amount is positive, and computes the sender's new balance from a stale snapshot taken before crediting the recipient, allowing an authenticated attacker with Subscriber-level access to mint wallet funds for themselves or drain a specific victim's balance into their own account.18d
CVE-2026-1051905.3 MED

——2The Easy Digital Downloads WordPress plugin before 3.7.1 does not consult the site's user registration setting before creating a WordPress account, allowing unauthenticated users to create an account and receive a logged-in session even when registration is disabled. ——1Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 does not enforce TLS for outbound SMTP delivery to a mail exchanger whose DNSSEC-validated TLSA records contain no DANE-EE (usage 3) record, contrary to RFC 7672 section 2.2. The server used only DANE-EE records and treated a validated TLSA record set consisting of DANE-TA (usage 2) or otherwise unusable records as if no records were published, so delivery to such a host fell back to opportunistic TLS. An attacker with an active position on the network path between the server and the recipient's mail exchanger can suppress or break the STARTTLS negotiation and cause messages to be delivered in cleartext, where they can be read and modified.18d

——0Missing authorization on COM objects in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 (Windows only) lets a local interactive user with no hMailServer credential read and write arbitrary files as the service account and queue mail as any sender. The service registers its COM classes with no DCOM access or launch permission and calls CoInitializeSecurity with no security descriptor, so any user logged on at the console or over Remote Desktop can activate the classes in the running service; a hMailServer.Message, its Attachments and Attachment, and a hMailServer.FetchAccount created this way carry a credential that never authenticated. Attachments.Add(path) and Attachment.SaveAs(path) performed no authorization check, and Message.Save/Copy and FetchAccount.AccountID/Save performed none either up to 6.3.3 and from 6.3.4 treated a holder with no credential as the server's own event-script host. Because the service does not impersonate the COM caller, Attachments.Add reads any file the service account can read and returns it, Attachment.SaveAs writes attacker-chosen bytes to any path it can write (on a LocalSystem installation, code execution as SYSTEM), Message.Save queues outbound mail from any address past the SMTP checks, and FetchAccount attaches a mail-fetch job to any mailbox. The objects an Application handed out behave the same once a later Authenticate on that Application fails.18d
CVE-2026-1046597.5 ALT

——1Missing Host header validation and missing throttling of failed administrator sign-ins in the REST API listener of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allow a remote attacker to brute-force the server administrator's password through the administrator's own browser by DNS rebinding. The listener, which is off by default and bound to the loopback when enabled, answered requests whatever their Host header named, and a failed sign-in with the administrator's password from the loopback was neither auto-banned nor delayed. A web page whose host name the attacker rebinds to 127.0.0.1, opened in a browser on the server, can therefore send authenticated requests to the listener, read the answers and try administrator passwords at full speed until one is accepted, giving the attacker full administrative control of the mail server.18d
CVE-2026-1046587.8 ALT

——0The Linux live-update apply helper (hmailserver-update) of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 runs as root on a request file written by the unprivileged hmailserver service account, and took from that request the program used to verify an AppImage update's signature and the systemd unit to stop before reading the service account's files. An attacker who already runs code as the hmailserver service account, for example through another flaw in the mail server, can therefore have arbitrary code executed as root, on any Linux installation where the live update's path unit is active - the default for the project's .deb and .rpm packages - and on AppImage installations run under that unit.18d
CVE-2026-1036497.5 ALT
19.1%
——6Missing network timeouts in the Linux builds of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.0 through 6.3.5 allow a remote attacker to hold server threads indefinitely and so stop outbound mail delivery (denial of service). The server set its socket timeouts in the form Windows takes, which Linux refuses, and its HTTPS clients read without a deadline, so a peer that accepts a connection and then sends nothing held the waiting thread for as long as the connection stayed open. The MTA-STS policy fetch, enabled by default, is made during outbound delivery to mta-sts.<recipient domain>, so anyone who can make the server deliver mail to a domain they control - for example as the envelope sender of a message that bounces - can hold delivery threads until outbound delivery stops. The same flaw affects the DANE TLSA query, the OAuth2 token request, the ACME client, and the ManageSieve and metrics listeners, which a silent client stops from serving anyone else. Windows builds are not affected.18d
CVE-2026-1036478.0 ALT

——5Cross-site scripting in the webmail of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.2 through 6.3.5 allows a remote attacker who can send a user an encrypted message to run script in the webmail's origin with that user's session. When the webmail decrypted an S/MIME message (from 6.3.2) or an OpenPGP message (from 6.3.4) in the browser, it offered each decrypted attachment as a blob URL of the media type the message declared for it. A click saved the file, but if the user opened the attachment in a new tab, a part declared as text/html was rendered as a document of the webmail's origin and its script could read the mailbox, send mail and change the account through the REST API. The webmail is served only when the REST API is enabled, which it is not by default.18d

——3Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish encryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::Encode, called by EncryptToString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allows an authenticated mailbox user to cause a denial of service (service crash), and possibly other unspecified impact. In 6.3.4 and 6.3.5, where the self-service REST API is enabled (it is off by default), the user does this remotely by adding a fetch account whose password is 129 to 247 characters long and not a multiple of 8, and then requesting their personal data export (GET /api/v1/me/export.zip), which encrypts that password with the legacy scheme. The same flaw is reachable on Windows by any local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials, through the COM method Utilities.BlowfishEncrypt, which checked no authentication. It is also reachable by every stored-secret write when ProtectStoredSecretsWithDPAPI is set to 0. For such a length, the routine's padding loop writes up to 7 zero bytes 2 to 232 bytes past the end of its 255-byte heap buffer. The ciphertext it returns is still correct.18d
CVE-2026-1030107.8 ALT

——2Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish decryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::DecryptFromString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.3 on Windows allows a local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials to write bytes of their choosing past the end of a 255-byte heap buffer in the hMailServer service process, which runs as LocalSystem by default. The user does this by passing a long hexadecimal string to the COM method Utilities.BlowfishDecrypt, which checked no authentication. The routine converted hexadecimal input of any length into a fixed 255-byte buffer before decrypting it in place. The result is a denial of service (service crash), and possibly code execution with the privileges of the service account.18d

——3In Eclipse Ditto versions 3.6.0 to 3.8.13 and 3.9.0 to 3.9.7, the Ditto Explorer UI loads its complete environment configuration, including the Ditto API URI and the OpenID Connect (OIDC) provider settings, from an arbitrary cross-origin URL supplied in the environmentsURL query parameter. It adopts this configuration without user confirmation and persists it in the browser's localStorage. A crafted link can therefore set an attacker-controlled OIDC authority with autoSso enabled. The UI then automatically starts a login at the genuine identity provider but exchanges the returned authorization code together with its PKCE code_verifier at an attacker-controlled token endpoint. This lets the attacker redeem the code for the victim's access and refresh tokens. Alternatively, an attacker-controlled api_uri causes the UI to send the victim's bearer token or Basic credentials to the attacker. Because the configuration is persisted, later visits to the UI without the crafted link repeat the token theft. In versions 3.9.0 to 3.9.7, the Swagger UI OIDC integration of the Helm chart and the Docker Compose deployment is affected in the same way, but requires the user to start the login. The issue is fixed in 3.8.14 and 3.9.8.11d

——5An authorization vulnerability in Apache DolphinScheduler allows authenticated users to retrieve other users' account information through the /dolphinscheduler/users/list-all endpoint without the required permissions. The endpoint fails to enforce the necessary authorization checks before returning user account information. As a result, an authenticated user can access account information they are not authorized to view. Successful exploitation may expose sensitive user information and facilitate account enumeration. This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue.18d

——4An authorization vulnerability in Apache DolphinScheduler allows authenticated non-admin users to retrieve Kubernetes configuration data intended for administrator-managed cluster configuration. The exposed kubeconfig data contains credentials that may allow users to authenticate directly to the Kubernetes API outside DolphinScheduler. The impact depends on the permissions granted to the disclosed credentials. If the kubeconfig provides cluster-admin or broadly privileged service-account access, an attacker may read Kubernetes Secrets, create pods, and establish persistent access to the cluster. This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: from 3.2.0 before 3.4.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue.18d

——4An authorization vulnerability in Apache DolphinScheduler allows authenticated users to obtain information about data sources they are not authorized to access through the /unauth-datasource and /authed-datasource endpoints. These endpoints fail to enforce the required data source access controls and return sensitive connection information, including data source passwords. As a result, an authenticated user without permission to access a data source can retrieve its connection details and credentials. Successful exploitation exposes sensitive data source information and may enable unauthorized access to the underlying databases using the disclosed credentials. This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue.18d

——8An authorization bypass vulnerability in Apache DolphinScheduler allows authenticated users to modify task definitions in projects they are not authorized to access through the /dolphinscheduler/projects/{projectCode}/task-definition/{code}/with-upstream endpoint. The endpoint fails to verify that the task definition identified by code belongs to the project specified by projectCode. An authenticated user can supply the code of a project they are authorized to access together with a task definition code from another project, bypassing project access restrictions and modifying the target task definition and its upstream dependencies. This vulnerability can compromise workflow integrity and disrupt task execution in unauthorized projects. This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue.18d

——7An authorization bypass vulnerability in Apache DolphinScheduler allows authenticated users to perform unauthorized operations on workflow schedules, workflow definitions, and task instances in other projects. The affected endpoints check permissions against the supplied projectCode but fail to verify that the target resource belongs to that project. An authenticated user with the required permissions in one project can supply that project's code together with a resource identifier from another project, bypassing the target project's access restrictions. The affected endpoints include: * POST /projects/{projectCode}/schedules/{id}/online and /offline: Activate or deactivate workflow schedules in another project. * POST /projects/{projectCode}/workflow-definition/{code}/release: Change the ONLINE/OFFLINE state of workflow definitions in another project. Successful exploitation allows users to alter workflow availability and interfere with task execution in projects they are not authorized to access. This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue.18d

——9A vulnerability has been identified regarding insufficient validation in the Frappe Cloud/ERPNext authentication process, which allows multiple email addresses to be accepted by manipulating the email field in the /api/method/press.api.account.signup endpoint. The vulnerability occurs when an unauthenticated remote attacker adds more than one email address. The service processes the entire value as a valid list of recipients and sends the OTP code to all addresses without proper validation of all added emails (only one of them needs to be valid). Exploiting this vulnerability would allow an attacker to: * Obtain the authentication OTP; * Impersonate someone else in the registration process; * Register accounts using other people's email addresses without access to the mailbox; * Indirectly confirm the existence of already registered email addresses.18d
